The thing is, if it's post-trib, the right and more relevant question to ask is, are you tribulation ready? Are you aware of those signs in Matt. 24?

Are you aware of the fact that Jesus got done answering the disciples three questions and then in verse 32 He changes the subject and says, now let's larn a parable of the fig tree and He starts talking about the rapture. It doesn't go with the earlier text, Jesus was adding to it, telling them more and from there He goes right into talking about the rapture, Go see for yourself, Verse 32. I studied it out a while back. He changed the subject to talking about an earlier event!

Plan your life like He won't return during your lifetime, and live your live as if he's coming today.

I messed up my reply and made it to Lovette. This post was my reply to you, lol.

I sure am Brother. I may not have some of the doo dads that the preppers have but I have something in the stead ofthose things I can not afford, lol. I have the Lord Jesus the Christ in me and His Holy Spirit. I can walk through the valley of death and fear no evil. I abide in Jesus and so am under His protection. His protection is outlined in Psalm 91.

A thousand may die at my side and 10 thousand at my right side, but it wont come near me. My understanding is that many sincere Christians are not Rapture ready even if they think they are. But their Pastor said all they have to do is believe so they perform Christianity to learn all these thing and they know a lot about Jesus...but they don't know Him personally! I never knew you...Maybe they don't pray much, maybe they dont read His word much? That will keep one from getting to know the Lord personally. That Pastor got left behind and the woman was mad because she thought was ready.

Besides, if the Lord needs boots on the ground during the great trib and leaves me here, what is that to me. He will be with me. Jesus told me that all of the super preppers that have went off grid and have every survival doo dad that there is are in fact no better prepared than a Christian that abides in the Lord and is under His protection. Many Christians think they have protection and they do not. Mostly because they did not spend time with Jesus in His presence, which is reading His Word, and praying always brings you into His presence.

Have I been transformed progressively. Yes I have. I still am progressing more. I notice it all the time, sometimes I auto react to things that are going on or being said and my reaction or words...are not what they used to be or how I typically would react based on my life and who I was. I react like someone else in the moment. That's from transformation of the mind and heart over time. I keep changing! And I am nobody special. I am just some poor guy who knows the Lord a little bit. Anyone can go into the Lord's presence, Jesus is here with me right now. I can't see Him. I feel Him but not in a normal way. It's oneof ,y spiritual senses that feel Him. But sometimes He is silent to me! And it made me feel bad, like He was distant from me. I came into His presence and said where are you? You left me, and He laughed and said I never left but when I am silent to you, it forces you into a different kind of faith, faith with no proof, can't see Him, can't hear Him, but I Know He Is Still There. When He has given me supernatural help it is easy to have faith! I bet when Moses parted the red sea all of them found Faith very easy! They could see God moving oh yes I have faith!! But can you have that sort of faith whenever you can not see or feel His presence? That Is a different kind of faith! That was a good lesson for me. So I want to be raptured and attend the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, but He wrote a book on me and I still don't know if He will take me or not. I believe I am ready, but I haven't started rising yet! So we'll see what He has in store for me. When He does come to get His Bride, it's not about who knows a lot about Him or who can quote the most scriptures, it's about who He knows. I think He sees us differently than we see and when scripture says to let your light shine it is my belief that the better you know Jesus personally the brighter your light will be and He can easily pick you out of a crowd. We shine light or darkness in the spiritual realm.

People who may be still living with some sin in their life will be full of darkness because they are living in rebellion to God. Time to cut that sin out of your life if so. That's what Repent means, to turn away from sin (even your favorite ones) and stop the sin, don't do it anymore.

Nope, the gathering of his people from four corners of the earth is the reference of rapture, after that, from the Fig Tree parable to the end of Matt. 25, Jesus was teaching the disciples to be prepared before they were caught by surprise, don't waste your life and don't be spiritually empty.

I am wasting my life because I look for Jesus's return before you do? How could that even be?

When Jesus does back, will He have to send someone to wake you up? And there is poor Edward who has been wasting His life (??!!) looking for you for the last 7years? They don't have to wake me up? How am I wasted? Wht is the wrong I have done?

I don't understand that, that don't compute to me.

I didn't know what "rapture ready" is, but I don't agree with dispensational premillennialism either.

Get someplace quiet and ask yourself these questions and be honest with yourself?

1. What is your primary Emotion about Christ's return, Anticipation or d
Dread?

2. Am I being progressively transformed or spiritually stagnant?

3. Would I be shocked to be taken up? Shocked to be left behind?

For over 30 years I never gave the second coming and the rapture a second thought. I just think some things are our business, and some things are God's business. I always considered the second coming and the post trib rapture to be His business.

Since I have an understanding in my heart of a post trib rapture , I thought that maybe there is something the Lord may want me and my wife to do during that time.

So we started 3 years ago to be prepared to help our neighbors. We live in a senior community and at 67, are the youngest ones here.

I also started to translate the Tischendorf's translation of the codex Sinaiticus into a study format and laminated each page to protect it. I know what I have to give and plan on being ready to give it if called upon.

I suggest anyone that has ears to hear do the same thing.

If the rapture isn't until after the great trib, then why are some left behind? Left behind for what, it's over? Some scripture says we rise up and meet Jesus in the air, another scripture says He sends His Angels to gather us up? Which one's right? Post trib don't make sense.

So your in the prime of your life. The one in your family which has the most wisdom & experience! I'm 63 and supposedly retired, lol. I just stopped my earth career and joined the Service of the Almighty, which is actually easier! Do not think that Life is over yet Brother. Jesus see us seniors as in the prime of our life and almost ready!

Your missing the point which is to be ready either way.

I agree, but my earth career and what's happening afterward is the same thing as far as service to Him.

I wish that He would return tonight, if I had a say so in it.

Sorry for thr quick reply, I was heading out the door.

Wouldn't the ones left behind be the ones who are not in Christ? A pretrib doctrine would create an assumption that those left behind still had an opportunity to surrender to Him. When Iin reality their just the ones left behind?

As I stated before, since none of us will know for certain until it happens, being ready for both would seem like the logical choice.

Is anyone else seeing an attack by Russia on the United States what starts the whole process?

You don't understand because you've made it personal, even though I don't know anything about you and I have no interest to. My only intention is to debunk the pretrib rapture, the seven year tribulation narrative and the weird obsession with the "sudden disappearance" rapture at a totally random moment.

Please do, because The Word Of Truth, Rightly Divided, Teaches prayerful and Careful
students:

pre-trib catching Up in
God's Great GRACE Departure!

Amen.
I've made my argument in my thread, it's simple - the FIRST resurrection, defined as permanent new life in a glorified, incorruptible new body, takes place AFTER the great tribulation and the second coming (Rev. 20:1-5), resurrection also precedes the rapture, therefore logically, the rapture must be post-trib. And based on this understanding, it is appropriate to adjust the defition of "rapture" from "removal of the church" to "gathering of the church".

Your a good father and outside your home there's severe danger going on. Half your children are rebellious and disobedient and the other half have Godly attributes. You decide to make the bad ones stay outside for punishment....are you going to make your obedient children go outside to face the mayhem also?

This is not personal. I ask may post tribbers those same questions and no post tribber has answered them yet.

And if your intention is to debunk what I say in this thread, then is it ok if we not make this thread a debate thread on pre/post rapture? Such was not my intent for this thread. I asked you about it, please don't ignore me about that.

Many of those left behind are in Christ, but have never met Jesus personally. So left behind for what? By that time the GT is over and the evil ones destroyed. I have no answer for why be left behind at this point? It don't make sense. But it does if you imagine a pre trib rapture, and yes those left behind do get another chance to surrender to the lord and follow Him. What they could not do in an entire lifetime, God will do in 7 years.

Does it make sense to you that there would be a "zeroth" resurrection before the FIRST resurrection upon the second coming? No pre-tribber has answered that. "Left behind" is from Hollywood movies, not valid biblical teaching. There is no seven year tribulation, only three and a half years. God's angels will gather his people to Mount Olivet for his return, meeting him "in the air" means welcoming the Lord descending from the air - IN LIKE MANNERS. It doesn't make sense to you because you interpret the scripture with cultural influences, not scripture itself.

And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, “which,” He said, “you have heard from Me ...(Acts 1:5)

Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, who also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.” (Acts 1:7-9)

Does it make sense to you that there would be a

nother thread which debates pre trib and post trib? It was not my intent to make this thread pre/post trib rapture debate. I'm asking you nicely, go to one of the debate threads and ask me and I'll answer you. Please.
