They never saw the AC or the trib, or the second coming on white horses.
right ……Jerusalem never saw it’s destruction and the people never went through the Persecutions and slaughter Jesus warned then all was coming upon Jerusalem in his generation.
“But before all these,
they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake. And
it shall turn to you for a testimony. ( read the New Testament )
Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer: for I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist. And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death. And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake. But there shall not an hair of your head perish. In your patience possess ye your souls.
And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. Then let them which are in Judæa flee to the mountains; and
let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto. For
these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. ( he’s talking about what was written in the ot law and prophets at the time he said this ) But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days!
for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people. And
they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and
Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.”
Luke 21:12-24 KJV
In other words
rome never
besieged jerusalem from ad 67-70 near the end of that generetion ,
jersualem wasn’t
destroyed and the temple wasn’t
torn down and every stone wasn’t removed leaving thier entire covenant worship desolate and impossible to do without a temple . which hasn’t existed in close to 2000 years
since this was fulfilled in ad 70 .
Christian’s and Jews weren’t
tortured and tormented and slaughtered by the thousands under Nero and Titus .
Nero never
hung them in crosses and lit them ablaze to light his garden circus . The Jews weren’t
dispersed into all nations after Jerusalems destruction and desolation .
and maybe this wasnt really happening according to scripture like Jesus was telling them there
“And if ye will not for all this hearken unto me, but walk contrary unto me; And I will destroy your high places, and cut down your images, and cast your carcases upon the carcases of your idols, and my soul shall abhor you. And I will make your cities waste, and bring your sanctuaries unto desolation, and I will not smell the savour of your sweet odours. And I will bring the land into desolation: and your enemies which dwell therein shall be astonished at it.”
Leviticus 26:27, 30-32 KJV
“The word of the LORD also came unto me, saying,
Son of man, thou dwellest in the midst of a rebellious house, which have eyes to see, and see not; they have ears to hear, and hear not: for they are a rebellious house. ……..,And they shall know that I am the LORD,
when I shall scatter them among the nations, and disperse them in the countries. But I will leave a few men of them from the sword, from the
famine, and from the
pestilence; that they may
declare all their abominations among the heathen whither they come; and they shall know that I am the LORD.”
Ezekiel 12:1-2, 15-16 KJV
“And the LORD shall
scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; and there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, even wood and stone.
And among these nations shalt thou find no ease, neither shall the sole of thy foot have rest: but the LORD shall give thee there a trembling heart, and failing of eyes, and sorrow of mind:”
Deuteronomy 28:64-65
“And after threescore and two weeks shall
Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and
the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and
unto the end of the war desolations are determined.”
Daniel 9:26 KJV

“When ye therefore shall see
the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (
whoso readeth, let him understand
then let
them which be in Judæa ( it’s about this area ) flee into the mountains: let him which is on the house top not come down to take any thing out of his house: neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
for then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.”
Matthew 24:15-19, 21 KJV
look at the co temporary accounts and use all the information

For
in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be.”
Mark 13:14, 19 KJV
That whole line of prophecy is about the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 ad and the Jewish dispersia that followed.
The confusion is that Jesus was asked two seperete questions 1 what are the signs Jerusalem will be destroyed and it’s tenpke like Jesus had said ? And 2 what were the signs of his coming at the end of the world .
the answers are mixed together so ll the contemporary o formation needs to be looked at.
and finally I’m not actually expecting to see white horses , I figured that was linked to the prophetic figures in ot prophecy but that’s sort of another subject
you should look into the seige and destruction of jerusalem in ad 67- 70 by time it helps understand a lot of prophetic lines
