No.. But the Bible declares that Christians should not avoid having fellowship with each other.. Now there are different forms of fellowship.. We are having a form of fellowship now on this forum.. But going to meet up at a church is also a valid form of fellowship..
I suppose it might be a very vague form of fellowship.... more like pen pals. True fellowship needs face to face involvement... getting to know your fellow believers, just as you know your own family members... which is what we are. Doing that develops deep interactive relationships, leading to our reliance on each other... an online forum does not do that.... cannot do that.
Please read 1 Corinthians 12.... it discusses how we are all individual parts of the body, and how we are all necessary for the full function of it.

No, we don't have to; but if you can find someplace where you are nourished and can grow spiritually this would be a lot better in my opinion. If you can't find such a place, I don't believe we have to force ourselves to assemble with people who do us more harm than good.
Read scripture and pray. The church my late wife and I attended for years has changed. Nothing bad just not the same. Ive went to a Baptist church a couple times and even tried mass 2 or 3 times. Might try a pentecostal church and see. In the meantime I read the bible, pray and watch some documentaries. Ive always felt I got fed better from the book even when attending church every Sunday.
technically, when getting to the core, no, you don't HAVE to go to church. some people may not be able to go to church because of an ailment or other reason God understands. however, Hebrews 10:25 teaches- ".....NOT forsaking the assembling of yourselves......". every Christian will desire to attend church.
Yes. Fellowship is important. Also if you dont attend church you cant tithe.
It seems that many people go out of their way to explain why NOT to go to church.
In my experience, it boils down to "they are not perfect enough for me" or "I don't get anything from it because of the pastor/singing/tithing/whatever..."
What we seem to overlook is that "going to church" is not simply for us to "get serviced". Again, the whole discussion about how the church is like a body.... every member has a part to fulfill....
Your absence is felt... the body is not complete with you sitting in your pajama pants at home. There are believers there that, whether you know it or not, NEED you to be there. Fellowship is about being there.

You can give in many ways apart from tithing.
i haven't gone to church steadily since 2019. i "tried" the churches for 8 years between 2009 to the present & found no worthy pastor performing an interesting "teaching preaching" service. it's an epidemic around here, all you get is boring church services. 1 church plays the same rhythm pattern for every song, & year after year! but i still tithe.
Nor should you tithe even if you do attend a church. Tithing is not taught to Christians anywhere in Scripture.
You may, of course, be using "tithe" to represent "give of your finances"; many Christians make this mistake. Just use the words "offering" or "giving" to avoid the confusion.
As Christians, we are the Church.
More specifically, Hebrews 10:25 tells us not to give up meeting together, and the implication is that regular meeting with other Christian believers for teaching, worship, prayer and fellowship is strongly encouraged. As a Christian, why would you avoid this?
i speak the truth. hundreds say what i said. it's a regional disappointment. i miss attending church & want to attend church. if you lived here, you'd be saying the same thing. i should become a pastor because i have 313 Bible verses memorized!
