Wow I musta missed the worldwide mark and the ac.
I guess the flying scorpions is actually some spiritual event.

Nope.
History proves the trib is future.

Your comment makes no sense. Looks like you bought into the false witness and slander the OP made against me.

Way to go.

Romans 5:9
Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him!

Ephesians 5:6
Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God’s wrath comes on those who are disobedient.

1 Thessalonians 1:10
and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead—Jesus, who rescues us from the coming wrath.

1 Thessalonians 5:9
For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Revelation 6:16
They called to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb!

Revelation 6:17
For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can withstand it?”

While I agree with the way you read these verses, you know that there are people who will say that it just means that we don't have to suffer God's wrath, but that doesn't include any wrath that might be bestowed upon us from evil men waging war against God/Jesus and His saints who are still left in human body form upon the earth.

First of all, I am not a Preterist, nor is anything I posted part of the Preterism belief.

Second, teaching Preterism is against the rules of this forum which makes your comment extremely rude and irresponsible.

You should consider apologizing for something that outrageous.

Instead of bearing false witness against me in front of everyone, you could have addressed the points I made.

The fact that you have to stoop so low to try and 'win' whatever argument you are making says a lot about you.

Since the Great Tribulation began in 70 AD and continues to this very day, the verses you referenced demonstrate that we are now waiting for the Great Tribulation to end.

We will have to disagree

Could these scriptures happen inside the Tribulation ??

Luke 17:27 They ate, they drank, they married, they were given in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. 28 Likewise as it was in the days of Lot—they ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built, 29 but on the day when Lot went out from Sodom fire and sulphur rained from heaven and destroyed them all— 30 so will it be on the day when the Son of man is revealed.
yes at lease at the start of it.

Rapture and sudden destruction are next:

1 Thessalonians 5:2-3 - For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

Of course, we are not appointed to wrath.
Preterism.
You are preterist

.
A preterist is a Christian who believes that biblical prophecies concerning the "end times"—such as those in the Book of Revelation, the Book of Daniel, and Jesus’s Olivet Discourse—have already been fulfilled in history, primarily during the first century AD with the destruction of the Jerusalem Temple by the Romans in AD 70. [1, 2, 3]
The word comes from the Latin praeter, which means "past" or "gone by". [1]

Can you provide some evidence that the Great Tribulation started in 70 AD?
I ask the question because of Mat. 24:3-51, with focus on verse 21: For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor shall ever be.

Can you answer my question?
Well, let me see. I see a 7 year tribulation and I will agree the worst part will begin in the middle of the 7. This is the time of Jacob's troubles. The beast from the earth is the Antichrist making his true intentions known and the beast from the earth also represents the kingdom of the antichrist IMO

In my research of scripture, It is my understanding that the rapture (1 Thessalonians 4) will happen before the 7 year Great Tribulation. It is also my understanding that the Holy Ghost will be removed at that time as the Holy Ghost lives within us (2 Thessalonians 2).
I also jump all the way back to when Jesus took Abraham to overlook Sodom (Gen 18:16-33) and told Abraham that He was going to destroy Sodom. Abraham said, "will you destroy the righteous with the wicked? And the Lord showed Abraham that He would not destroy Sodom for even one righteous, but would remove the righteous and then destroy the place. God will not destroy the earth for one righteous, but would provide a way out, hence, Rapture.

This is one example of why Peter who leads the church said Paul is hard to understand this needs to be interpreted with the rest of scripture.

Wise understanding about the Lord and Abraham overlooking Sodom. The 7 year tribulation is opened by the Lord and expect outcome to be the same
