I agree but at some point you cross over and actually believe it and begin thanking Jesus for his salvation. You have two groups of people, one who are trying to figure out how to get saved because they don't believe it yet and another that completely believes that Jesus saved them on the Cross and are leaping with joy and telling him thank you. I remember not seeing this and the agony of not believing in his salvation but when I realized I was the one who did not believe it,and that it was what was causing me to panic all the agony and doubt went away. Everyone's doing works but one's work is confessing the salvation of his sacrifice and the other's works are all about trying to do something to get saved. Every persons works confess what they believe. One person's works are about getting saved and another's works are to rest and be at peace. I cannot return to the agony after seeing the peace in the blood of the Cross instead I rest and give thanks and praises.
