It's often something done in private that you simply don't see, Jinx. Just follow the site rules, and you'll be fine :).

yeah. I had to re-read the rules again. a lot of rules. sensible though. Now that I re-read them I can see why certain ones got kicked. I suggest others to re-read them also.

peace.

Christianchat likes to ban non believers because they can't take the scrutiny.

It's simple, they are breaking the rules, when they enter the chat or forum, things they post may not be right, or they may have offended members. or they simply come here to cause trouble. also there are some cases were they curse and swear and only come here to convert people to there own religion. Mod's or admin will not ban anyone for no reason. they will only ban for the reason above.

The reason is no more than questioning Christianity. This website isn't very tolerant of other people's
views. Which is funny because if your beliefs are true it shouldn't bother you when other people
question them.

Keep some rules while being just you. There´s a risk when being an outlaw (and I feel myself the same).

Hmm! I´m learning English and your idea gave me a grammar lesson: Should I say ARE or IS in the quoted sentence? I guess ARE, but I´m not English... Thanks!

This website is for Christians and those interested in Christianity (the site rules specifically say so). Here is rule #2:

2. No conduct that is offensive or counterproductive to fellowship.
We like to welcome all to Christian Chat, but if anyone is not here for fellowship (or for wanting to know about Christianity), but simply for disrupting fellowship, offending people, whatever, then that person is not welcome.

I don't expect atheists to suddenly realize how much Jesus loves them; the Bible specifically says that unless God reveals it to them, they won't see. It often takes awhile (if at all in this life) to come to the point where the blood of Jesus being shed specifically for one's own sins really registers in one's soul. However, though we shouldn't hold it against people if they don't believe as we do, to allow them to blaspheme our Savior Jesus on a Christian site would be wrong. After all the pain He took for us on the cross, the least we can do is keep those who aren't yet interested in hearing of Him (but are instead here to start fights and argue) off of the site.

They don't ban unbelievers for simply unbelieving. There are plenty of atheists/agnostics who use this site and are able to keep their membership as long as they stick to the rules plain and simple. When you break the rules, you are on grounds for being banned. It's clear as crystal on the rules page.

i'm a mod, only ever banned 1 person that was begging for money the day they joined. i think we are very lenient, I've been cursed many times but my faith is strong enough to take it. There are rules, this is a christian site after all. I also give my time to a mechanics advisory site and people that break rules there are also banned

Aw, man, I was just a teeny bit too late to edit my post :)! I was just going to add a link to the rules: http://christianchat.com/rules.php

I also wanted to add that everyone who follows the rules can stay, so welcome to the site, curious atheists and other non-Christians :)! Jesus loves you as well :).

This is called Christian Chat...which is a firm clue to its foundational beliefs. On the whole, this is an incredibly tolerant and loving place. Just as some athiests are less cobatative, so are Christians! We are created in His image but we are not clones! The fact it is a place where the majority are believers in Christ, should not be a surprise but it is not exclusive. It should also be ok for the moderators to protect users, as they see fit, from those who seek to stir descent. I am quite sure you will find Christians have been banned too!! I think it is wonderful that those who do not hold a belief in God come here to seek and discuss but if they do, they can perhaps understand that they will hear many declaring that Jesus is Lord of their lives...and of this site!! :) God Bless, <><

With all due respect, that is blatantly incorrect - particularly the former.
