Sorry I should clarify, I wasn't talking about the being set up part, but about finding out whether the guy had the characteristics you would be interested in before you decided you weren't interested.

I'm guessing he didn't from what else you've said tho.
 
I'm sorry but I can't help but to laugh when women brag about their attempts to indirectly blow guys off. Much licking her hands and getting them all gooey with butter? Now how do I describe this on a CHRISTIAN site. I'd think the tacky dressed skank was trying to tell me awful fearsomely that she was looking to perform some very dramatic hand skills in the dark of the theater. I think the word lubrication, not gross comes to mind.

The sad thing is, there is always at least two ways of taking every indirect behaviour.
 
Oh, before someone complains about the use of the word "skank", I use it where I use it for the perception I'd have in the situation at the time, I'm not calling anyone on here a skank. And in addition if I was in that situation with some chick getting me all hot and bothered by licking herself all over I'd probably be wondering the whole time what kinky toys she might be carrying in her purse. Just saying.
 
You don't have to worry about me saying anything, unless that is what you were going for, even then kind of no dice.

Either you now have a stalker or he is one of these guys who thinks some women like to play hard to get. In any case, you just have to keep telling him bluntly that you're not interested, and "please stop calling/texting/emailing me."

Skank? Oh, how nice.

Well the fact that I was using to post mainly in a humourous sense I will apologize because you clearly cannot see a lighter side of things.

To call someone a skank because you don't like the story to where a MAN made her feel uncomfortable no matter what she did...how can I see where THAT is Christian?

When I was referring to LICKING MY FINGERS..it was to PREVENT hom from trying to hold my hand. I am thinking if a guy had spit all over his hand I would not want to hold it.
I apologize for your inability to see that my intention was to get the guy to leave me alone....not turn him on...

So I finally got to tell the guy face to face I wasn't interested..... and he's not taking no for an answer. He almost had his arm broken for attempting to try to kiss me....

I honestly hate being mean to people. I really do... but it looks like I have to be cold and cruel to this guy...
 
He tried to kiss you! Thats cute! Why not give they guy atleast a fighting chance seems like you shut the door on him before he got one.

Look, I totally got your story and the humour of it... I was just trying to tell you how it MIGHT come out to a guy on the other end whether you like it or not.

and i told you how your post came across to me, and seriously....if you have to resort to name calling and insulting then maybe you just need to look over posts that would compell you to act that way.

and in the even the guy THOUGHT i was trying to be seductive in a way you would have percieved it then he obviously lacked social skills in interecting with women.

I mean look at this conversation, I thought I was pretty clear in trying to describe what may lurk in the male mind and you have it in your head that I'm out to insult you. Girl in a theater licking her hands... yup, I'm still gonna go with seductive. And it doesn't really matter WHAT you say was the intent because I'm going with the male RESPONSE.

Im sorry, but i dont know many men that look at thins that way. Maybe some, but over the years i have learned to increase my standards to dating gentlemen who dont look for SEDUCTIVE signs from a lady. On a blind date? Even if i was giving him SIGNS he should still be a gentleman.

Never saw him again after that, thank goodness.

I cant help but giggle at how licking butter off of your fingers from popcorn and then later on choking on it can be construed as a sexual advance but maaybe that is why there are so many restraining orders out there

I think you are going way overboard and you have been disrespectful enough. I am asking you to please stop it. You aren't funny, and if something made you laugh then great, but no need to keep on acting the way you are. You may not think you are being degrading, but you are. You are purely going by YOUR perception and taking what happened and blowing it out of proportion. It is terribly disrespectful.
