People reclining back on their leather lounges passing judgement on others, not knowing what they would do in a similar situation.

Before people make judgement perhaps they should access if he has mental health issues.
 
Bergdahl, which the army believes was a traitor/deserter was exchanged, for, if I remember correctly 5 important and dangerous prisoners at Gitmo.

Now, does that make any sense to anyone?
 
It makes sense to me, a good move and I am glad our comrade can return home from the terrible War in Afghanistan.
 
I suppose why even bring Obama into it? Is it not at least a good thing one of our soldiers is home from taliban captivit during the longest war in US History (still on-going too)y?

As far as Obama is concerned as he is President, he must bring home our POWs from Afghanistan and leave no man behind. Therefore, this seems like a fair move by Obama in my opinion.

13 american soldiers died trying to find him. He deserted. Joined the other side and to get him back we gave 5 dangerous criminals to get a traitor.

It was not approved by Congress. Obama did this act of pure stupidity for political reasons, and it backfired on him.

To see this as a good thing?

Unfortunately it is reported that as many as six US soldiers died while looking for this man that walked away, deserted his position. Those families wish their loves ones were at home......but that will never happen.

It's unbelievable how many of you act in a despicable way in order to support the Republican noise machine.

Let's not even mention God's laws being broken here, just common every day decency is being trashed. I am deeply ashamed of you people here who call yourself Christian and carry on like this.

If everyone posting is wrong, why don't you post some different information and give a different perspective.

Calling people satanic pigs isn't a very convincing way to state your case.

Why haven't we impeached? Nixon and Clinton only lied, we have a President that is actually breaking the law and nothing happens. What a great country we are.

First, Bergdahl disgraced his uniform when he deserted. There is a crime that needs to be judged by a court martial.

Second, I don't doubt he was captured by the enemy and Stockholm syndrome has set in.

Third, our President did not have the authority to make this deal.

I'm happy Bergdahl is safe, but I don't have to like how it was done, illegally, and I am not going to simply ignore that He deserted his comrades. No soldier has the right to up and leave, no matter his political views.

US Govt. 101

Articles of Impeachment originate in the House and are tried in the Senate.

Although I think there is enough support in the House to pass a resolution it would be a waste of time because it would never pass the Senate just like with Clinton.

We should still try. This situation is worse than an affair that was none of our business.
 
Obama has created an impeachable offense whether some of you like it or not. Why is that? I'll tell you why. 3 years ago a law was put in place that detainees CANNOT be released WITHOUT consent from congress. Obama did not consent them and I know for a fact that some of these officials didn't even know about the release if the 5 men until they saw it on the news. They were infuriated.
To top it all off this situation was brought before congress in 2012 and they say NO to it. Including Hilary Clinton. Obama did it anyway.
 
Reagan would have bombed their house and not traded oh wait didn't he bomb Qaddafi's house for running his mouth? Man we have become so weak, reckon why?
