I agree with better single than in a bad relationship. And I agree it's a bad idea to date non Christians.

Yes and yes. That's the story of my life as I am surrounded by non-Christians in a Christian-minority country.
Also, as two people just being Christians don't make them compatible, I would add, "It is better to be single than to be married to the wrong person."
From my experiences, it seems impossible.

I hope you don't feel threatened and in danger in the place where you live. I come from a Catholic family and I can say that I live "in the closet," because Protestants are seen as weird, strange. Foreigners are tolerated, but not Spaniards, and in a village, changing to a different Christianity is seen as treachery and madness.
As for the topic of couples, it is clear that having the same ideas and believing in God in the same way does not guaranty the success of the marriage, but at least one must feel free and show oneself as one is, without hiding and pretending to be someone one is not. This is terrible.
I am in India. Thank you for your concern. The Lord keeps me. I'm sorry to know how hard it is for you, and I understand, as Christianity is not appreciated or tolerated by many in my country. I ask God to give me boldness to stand up for Him in this pagan world. I have to say "No" often to invitation to temples or having food offered to idols. If I do, they will be misled to think Jesus is one of the many gods.
Absolutely. We must be open to share and respectfully listen to the doctrine of other Christian brothers and sisters.
I visited some regions of India years ago and I respect Hinduism with all its Gods. Catholic religion is a politheist
Catholicism is a polytheistic religion, with many gods. In every town in Spain, there is a saint, a holy woman, or a virgin and a Christ, and people venerate and worship these images, sometimes with passion. It may seem strange and difficult to understand. That's why I distanced myself from Catholicism, because it seems absurd to me and I only believe in and love one God.
Do they oppose gender theory? Do they support creationism? Do they uphold the principle that Jesus is the only way of redemption? Do they believe in bodily resurrection? If all yes, then they're more godly than any protestant sect. A tree is known by its fruit, not its leves, branches or flowers.
For folks matured in faith, yes, only date Christians.
For young believers, we can encourage them to abide by scripture. But God probably will give them someone matching their faith level.
During marriage, their faith can grow together , Lord willing.

I am so grateful to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for delivering me from the pit of hell. Coming from the background of Hinduism, I have no respect for any of the 330 million gods and goddesses. They are mere idols. I serve the living God.
I have Hindu family and friends. I don't disrespect them, but I let them know I believe only in Jesus. I have to be a strong witness for my unsaved people.
I had heard about Jesus as I studied in a Christian convent school. Apart from the Hindu extremist group that persecute Christians, several Hindus will say they believe in Jesus because they believe all gods are the same. I did too. I didn't know Jesus.
During the most difficult time of my life, I came to know who Jesus is. He showed me I had no hope in anyone else but Him. He used my mentor, also an ex-Hindu and now a missionary in North Carolina to lead me to Him.
