Is there any bible versions where the ordering of the books and numbering has been corrected?
The numbering of the verses/chapters was done haphazardly and in some cases is quite wrong, this is clear when you try and compare the Greek and Hebrew etc. Sentences are split up where they shouldnt be etc etc.
The ordering of the books is messed up too. The first book of the bible should start with God's love for mankind (such as it says in 1 John) and go from there. The parts about the origins of man in Genesis should be in the appendix.
It's hard enough telling a new believer to "read the bible" and gets them all confused when they can't start in Genesis but need to start in a simple Gospel like Mark or John for example.
Suggest that Mark or 1 John would be a better choice for the first book of the bible. ("in the beginning was the Word...") So that the bible ordering lines up better with the four spiritual laws or other similar evangelism or Gospel tools.
