Really I don't want to go against God's word and this thread is for me to hear why folks object so strongly and pray about their reasons and see if I feel that God is really saying no woman pastors.
Or what folks really think are the duties of pastors are anyway?

With Priscilla & Aquila, Bible scholars agree that the reason her name is first is because she was the leading minister of the team.

Also, we see in the Old Testament prophetesses that spoke God's word with His authority to kings, priests, even the whole nation of Israel. There are prophetesses in the NT also.

I am a bible scholar and I see nothing in the bible that would support the idea that Priscilla was "leading" her husband. The whole idea is grasping at straws. There are plenty of strong Christian woman and men, and I see no difference except in one area, the bible is clear that in an assembly(church gathering) the men are to do the talking(therefore leading). This is not up for debate, it is a command from God, we either accept it or reject it. It is not about me being a man, I have no desire to have any authority over anyone, male or female, this is about instruction from God.

He says there is nothing to limit the passage to husbands and wives in 1 Timothy 2 v 7-14....
Why didn't he include verse 15?

If it is to married couples then it is Paul again reminding women to submit to the authority of their husbands and not nag them.
