A man made power blackout is not mentioned anywhere in the Bible as a sign of the end times, to my knowledge.

Oh wait, they didn't have electricity in those days.

Of course if someone can show me where I am wrong in the Bible, I will humbly apologize.

I think trying to scare people into believing the end is coming is probably not Biblical either, come to think of it!

I honestly don't believe that overcomer was saying the blackout was the beginning of the end times, just that Satan seems to be causing a lot more turmoil in the world at this time. Maybe she should have put the word drill in the thread title. I highly doubt she was trying to scare people. From the posts she wrote throughout the thread she was just interested in if anything happened during the planned drill and what the results were. Opinions are a given right but remember that you are not the only person entitled to them Sarcasm is useful but it can also be hurtful. We are supposed to be kind to each other or so i thought.

OK. So set me straight. No blackout=no end of the world??

Or was the no blackout DRILL = practicing for the end of the world??

I just want to be sure, to know whether I also need more supplies and a way to cook the food without electricity.
 
Be prepared with extra water, food, and if possible a generator.
I see all the mockery toward the OP and one day you won't be
laughing.

This mocking reminds me of when people are warned there is a
HELL to shun. And the come back is.... "well, at least I will be with
my friends and it will be one party." Oh, really ?

I am reminded of the scripture, "what you do unto others will be
done unto you." If you haven't heard the name for this is "BULLYING."

Repent for the Day of the Lord is closer than you think. ~
 
See the other thread as to why I mock all this nonsense about the end times.

Jesus says he doesn't even know the hour or the day, and yet person after person has fallen down prophesying wrongly.

When the gospel is preached to all the nations, that is when Jesus will return. (Matt 24:14)

Anything else is the mere speculation of human beings, usually whipped into a frenzy by one or another of the tele-evangelists or prophetic writers.

Beware the false prophets, is what I say to you!

I would rather have you by my side then 10 of theses mockers. Go forth sister and be blessed when men shall revile you and persecute you and say all manner of evil against you. I have noted the mockers, they are on the ignore list do the same. Have no fellowship with darkness. I simply copied the title of the thread and the article. It was good because I can now see who has spirit and who does not. Enjoy your posts in all the different areas.

No, Really the only message here was that your gov't plays around with the grid without your knowledge most of the time. The arrogant ones just took it way to far. Such are the foolish. They want so badly to take blood when really I'm in Christ so the only blood they get belongs to the Lord. Now, they simply get to answer to him.

Bullying is one of those words that seems to be using its meaning from overuse. Doubting what the bible says about hell ought not be compared to doubting what the US government says about a drill for a blackout, or doubting the fears of those who believe that this is a real planned power outage.

That said, having extra food, water and if possible a generator (and first-aid supplies, radio, batteries, etc) is always a good idea. Making Y2K preps IS recommendable. It is still on MY to do list.

I agree there's lot of gov' disinformation in ufo sites,
but still there's a lot of accurate information in a few of them.

Btw, you don't believe UFOs are real ?
How could we be alone in this incommensurately large Universe with a God who called Himself Life ?

a friend of mine(ex military) tried to sell me a book he wrote for 24.00 once(he made a fortune),,,"how to survive a chemical/biological attack",,, i told him no thanks,he said why,i said "you know thats not what will happen",,,he knew i was right we were trained at the same source but years apart.

that is,if the city you live in receives for instance a bio attack,the u.s. mil. will surround that city,go house to house and remove all of it's people. they will have the orders to enter every house,structure,shelter,bunker ect. and remove all living and all mortality's. then all will be examined,any with systems/test+ will go straight to one facility,all with none/test- to another separating children parents ect. that is if you are infected and any one of you leave that city on a plane,car,hiking in the woods you will carry the infection elsewhere and they know it and it will not take place.

remember at the beginning of the war on terror when the nut sent chem. weapons to the wh. house,remember it contaminated the machines at the post office ect.?,,,that is it will also travel via a host both living and objects. so they will treat it a little different camp-A this direction,camp-B the other,ect. and all the canned spam,m.r.e.'s plastic on the windows with duct take will be all burned at the same time.,,,,put your self in their shoes and you'll see the reason.

let's say the lights go off and they are not restored in 30 days. lets say you have 6 months supply of food and water. darkness will fall when you run out of gas for your generator,everyone who heard your generator and saw your lights will know you kept your food preserved while theirs spoiled. they will then eat everything in their house and drink all of their water,and then when their babies begin to cry they will look for those who are "not loosing weight and have energy",,,and they will realize if they wait to long they will not be able to take your food and water because they will be malnourished and dehydrated. and they will go house to house searching for the weakest ones first and when they come to the strongest they will watch and count the men till they narrow the count down and come with more than there are in your house.

first and foremost is water it will be the first thing you run out of. if you live in any city large or small with "city water",then you will realize you do not have a water well anywhere close to where you live because they passed laws prohibiting them years ago. now as long as they can the gov. will have them leave it on as long as they can but only a few hours a day and you will then be faced with the fact you cannot grow food. where would you grow it anyhow on the patio at your apartment?

here is a question for the "preppers",,,you had 6 months supply your last inventory of food/h20 showed you have 46 days remaining. how many more days can you remain barricaded in your home?,,,,,,,,,,answer,,,those who were not prepared ran out of food and water weeks ago and you are about to become "the sitting duck",,,,,,that is you should have left the stuff and gone feral several weeks ago.

We had a power blackout this morning!!!! They are repairing the hydro-electric plant and we will likely have power outages all this week. Eschatological implications, anyone?
