My Tiny Apartment
What is the most awesome thing you have seen since the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus that has restored your faith in humanity?

I'll start:

I live in a high-rise apartment building where quite a number of elderly folks rent. In the lobby of the building, someone placed 2 large cardboard boxes with food along with the sign "Free. Help Yourself. Stay Safe."

I have not been out and about much to witness but I have had a couple random calls and texts, one from a new client and one from someone I hadn't touched base with in a long time, both asking if I needed anything. I thought that so kind and considerate.

your experience is very inspiring and thoughtful. Way to be who ever you are!!!! I hope lots of ppl have examples of kindness witnessed.
 
The teachers at my school put together free food and learning packs for families to take home.

Im sure the school fridge got cleaned out I hope all the books got sent out too. They were due for a delivery as children get free books each term.

in both my jobs my bosses have been kind and understanding so Im not worrying about my pay.
 
I shared this already on another thread but I was given an opportunity to work at a food bank and at the front office of a community service place. I really enjoy the experience. I witnessed ppl donating food and cash. It was so neat to see.
 
our street we all out teddy bears in our windows for children to see as they walked past to get some fresh air. someones brilliant idea of going on a bear hunt. Thanks Michael Rosen!

I had no bear so I put a sheep instead...bonus points for the sheep! I then found mum had a koala.

my pastor called me last night and Im thankful I have my church family praying for me

I think he rang everyone in the church he hadnt seen for a while but it was good he could call me even though I was in the middle of dinner. ;-)

All the charities that have come into play, helping hospital staff and giving food to families, etc. Even taxis were giving free rides to certain staff. It felt like a pre-existence of a golden age. I was amazed, Christians around the world really came into play and christian pastors have been praying for all. It was beautiful, domestic violence went up, but general crime went down. I have learned that both God and the devil are and were still at work in everyone's lives.
