Dan 7:7 After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns.
Dan 7:8 I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.
The Roman Empire and the 10 horns is the world split in to 10 sections with a leader in each section.
As I said, that isn't my view, and quoting it doesn't change my interpretation. From my perspective, the Roman Imperial Tradition is bound to the lineage of its ancient Eastern and Western territories, and that would not include the entire world. It would include only European Civilization. And that's why I don't agree with your view.
The antichrist plucks up 3 sections of the world which is mainly in the Arab nations for they rebelled against the operation of the world at that time where nothing could be taught or preached but the new age movement.
All nations will come together but the Roman Empire has the dominion.
I think the whole world worships the Beast because the world, at this time, is either pagan or apostate religion. And so, unbelief is prevalent and dominant in every nation, allowing the entire world to be said to be worshiping the Beast.
This doesn't, however, mean that the whole world is in the orbit of the Beast Empire. If they are saying, "Who can make war with him?," then they are clearly outside of his orbit and feel threatened by his empire.
Dan 7:23 Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.
The fourth beast the Roman Empire covers the whole world for they devour the whole world so the 10 horns cover the world.
Dan 7:12 As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time.
Dan 2:34 Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces.
Dan 2:35 Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.
The image of a man in Daniel 2 is the same as Daniel 7 bur referred to as in metals.
The 10 horns is the same as the 10 toes.
The first 3 beasts will never have physical dominion again and the Roman Empire does not lose her dominion until Jesus puts them down.
I agree that Dan 2 and 7 relay the same items. I think 3 of the European states will have to be overthrown by the Beast, or at least states with European origins. For example, the Beast may have to overthrow Russia, the US, and the UK in order to have dominion over the entire European Empire.
But the 3 previous empires referred to in Dan 2 and 7 represent Babylon, Persia, and Greece. When Rome is finally defeated for all time, when Christ comes again, Iraq, Iran, and Greece will apparently continue to have their own dominions. Europe will likely be integrated into the Kingdom of God, disposing of secular Europe forever. But this is pure speculation on my part.
Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece, and the Roman Empire has not fallen yet for as long as their ways are still on earth they have not fallen, and all 4 do not fall until Jesus puts down the dominion of the 10 horns that cover the earth.
Actually, the prophecies indicated they fell before each succeeding empire. Babylon fell before Persia, Persia before Greece, and Greece before Rome. Rome itself falls before the coming of Christ's Kingdom.
And they all show up at the beast kingdom.
Which Babylon represents human religion, the occult, and the kingdom of man.
Medo-Persia represents physical cruelty in war.
Greece represents human wisdom.
The Roman Empire represents pushing for power, territory.
I've not tried to characterize each empire in this way, though I'm sure they can be distinguished. The images God assigned to them give them a description of their character. Each resembles a particular part of the human anatomy. And each resembles the description Daniel gives them in ch. 7. But I do find trying to decipher this interesting.
Rev 17:12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.
Rev 17:13 These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.
Rev 13:7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
The 10 horns cover the earth so it is the world split in to ten sections with a leader in each section.
To have power over the earth does not necessarily suggest a single world power. Rather, it suggests this one particular empire on earth is the exclusive superpower. All other nations do obeisance to it, at least until Armageddon results. And that may be a rebellion by various powers in the East against the Antichrist Empire.
The 10 sections give their power to the beast and he gets control of the world because the 10 horns cover the whole earth.
