What is your definition of a boring christian woman???

AlienXman did the 'Boring Christian Men' thread so the crédit for the grrrrrEAT idea is all his , but let's flipside this thought, gents (and gentettes :D ) , what is a boring christian woman and why would you want a Christian women? Would you?

My thoughts kind of already said in 'Boring Christian Men' thread, so, go to there to read what I think of 'boring' as far as a woman goes and add your own thoughts, from the bible, maybe Proverbs ;) , or, ???

Does boring mean unexciting?
Does Jesus say anything about 'boring?'
Do you need an exciting mate?

Say whatever you want, guys (and gals), just don't be boring :D

My thoughts on what a boring christian woman is like.

She'll agree with most anything you say
she has a very dry personality
She aspires to spend her life cooking and cleaning
Her conversations with people are about very dull mundane topics.
Shes very skinny and wears clothes that are 2 sizes to big
She only laughs at things other boring people just like her say.
Her favorite book is Sew can you, or 207 ways to cook a pot roast without the pot.
She doesnt watch t.v

Very good, Nods. The 'right' guy will LOVE those kinds of traits in a woman :)
And...
How 'boring' will she be when it comes to God?

What will her 'boring' life look like with God? Activities? Sacrifices, etc.?

These are questions for all .

Nod-I-agree-with-ALMOST-everything-you-say (flat, robotic, dry voice)
She aspires to spend her life cooking and cleaning
If someone wanted me to stay home and cook and clean all the time (vs. dealing with the public like I do now, I can't say I'd pass up the offer)

Who doesn't like long dictations about dryer lint and daily weather fluctuations???!!!
Shes very skinny and wears clothes that are 2 sizes to big
After eating all the chocolate my friends got me this year, you don't have to worry about me "fitting" this one!
She only laughs at things other boring people just like her say.
Who doesn't laugh when OTHER people talk about dryer lint and the weather, all the in the same conversation?
Her favorite book is Sew can you, *Scanning my bookshelf* NOD!! I am pretty sure I have this book!! :D or 207 ways to cook a pot roast without the pot. Yeah, all you have to do is dig one of those "clay earth" cooking holes in your front yard... er... not that I've tried it or anything...
She doesnt watch t.v
Sorry, I'm too busy reading Sew You Think You Have Friends... :D (Guess Again!)

As usual, Nod is right about everything!! ;)

Sorry, I can't describe my view of a ''boring'' Christian woman here. I don't want any of them to be able to look at my post and say "SO YOU THINK I'M BORING HUH?!?!"

Plus, I don't need an angry mob of women trying to hunt me down and take me prisoner so they can bore me to death.

Such a wise man. ;) haha

It's kind of funny... and maybe a little scary... that apparently, we can think of boredom as a tangible weapon: "Don't you mess with me, I'm boring and I know how it use it against people!!" :)

Yes, I have had near death experiences due to boredom Seoulsearch. ;)

I like to be extremely active and adventurous, but it's not for everyone...that doesn't mean others are boring though. I agree with what Gabe said in the other thread about passion. For me, it's not about what a man/woman does or doesn't do that makes them boring. I know people who are housebound with disabilities who have amazing minds, a passion for life and a heart for other people...nothing boring about that. :) Some of the coolest conversations I've had in recent years have been with people in their 70-80s about their lives, travels, interests and all they've learned.

The type of Christian woman that I would class as boring, would be one who likes to talk about herself a lot of the time or who likes to criticise and slag other people off...

Another thing that bores the pants off me is a woman (or indeed a man) who simply rhymes off what they have heard others say without finding out for themselves if what has been said is true or not...this would be particularly true in serious matters.

I do like a woman to have a mind of their own with the confidence to use it, a person who is willing to try anything new...

I suppose I could think of other things but these were what came to mind.

My definition of a boring anyone is just always doing the same thing.

Everyone has their interests, some of which are stronger others, but when I'm interested in a woman I like to see a little variation. It's no problem if she loves going out, just as long as it isn't every single evening.

It's like the myth that women don't like a guy that likes to get the chips and beer and watch the football.
Actually they don't mind at all and enjoy some time to themselves, just as long as it's one night out five, not five out of five.

I don't need or particularly want an exciting mate, and I don't think boring is unexciting, sky diving everyday might well be exciting, yet immensely boring after a while.

Definition of boring Christian woman... would first say we need to define boring:

boring
adj
dull; repetitious; uninteresting

To go a step further - we may also want to define Christian woman. But let's not get too off track... this post is about being boring, after all!

Does boring mean unexciting? According to the definition, that is not at all what it means. What is exciting is relative to different people. Likewise with interesting. However, repetition, as stated in the definition - and as referenced by someone above, can certainly be boring.

What does Jesus say about boring? I don't think Jesus ever talks about boring. Does He? I think He tells us to love people - and if we follow in His example we see that He opens His eyes to needs and fills those needs however He can. He was active and traveled... and while He did some of the same stuff (which we have seen could be considered boring) He was always encountering new things. As we strive to be like Him, I think it would be impossible to live a boring life.

Do you need an exciting mate? ...do you NEED a mate? ...Okay. Let's say the answer is yes... I think we're attracted to people who share similar lifestyles. Since boring doesn't necessarily mean unexciting, a boring person might want a boring mate - and to them, they would be perfectly content. An exciting person would be attracted to an exciting person, etc. The fact is, we're all different and unique and looking for different things. It's kinda nice. And I think to sit back and say, "that person is boring," is to completely overlook the fact it's not our job to determine who or what is boring. It is our job to search for needs and fill them how we, as individuals, best know possible.

Any woman who can't get excited about my amazing collection of string or who doesn't share my fascination for different species of worms is simply not woman enough to starch my socks. At least, not according to my calculations. Ergonomically terrific. *adjusts suspenders* Now, has anyone seen my pocket protector? I really need it. Guys? Anyone?

I suddenly feel like killing myself

I sometimes pretend to be boring so people won't expect things from me that I can't live up to. I'm an introvert and value my alone time.

Underneath, I am quirky and friendly and an intellectual. On the outside I am quiet and shy.

But I am totally fine with people thinking I am boring. :p I'm not here to impress anyone or be the center of attention.
