IMO when Adam became a living being is when the Lord breathed a living soul into Adam by the Spirit, not a breath of air. I see the same is true when our parents came together to form us from the earth but the child had no soul till given by the Lord in the womb!

Are you seeing this as that the Lord God breathed into his nostrils a living soul?
My opinion is that Adam became animated when God breathed life into his nostrils, which might be likened to jump starting a car but a car like Herbie the Lovebug. Herbie's "soul" sets him apart from his "father" in the same way it sets us apart from our parents even though our life originates from them, and ultimately originates from God. I don't see it as much a part of you as I see it as a complete you. So, a child that starts with just two cells, though alive and continually dividing, is a soul, though only a two-celled soul at that certain point in time. I mean, how can we know whether his/her capacity of awareness, of contentment, or stress, even in the beginning as one living cell?

There's so many spiritual truths in the physical creations of God.Look how God uses us as his witnesses, and our breaths bring life unto those who receive,believe,and follow in the Lords teachings.
Our lungs are the Lords storehouse.When you breathe in,the storehouse is full.And when preaching the Word, and you exhale,you are releasing up his storehouse to the people.
That's because the air itself is the breath of the Lord.He is Spirit.

He gathereth the waters of the sea together as an heap: he layeth up the depth in storehouses.

The breath of life is common to all God's creatures. For example: everyone
and everything aboard Noah's ark, plus and everyone and everything not
aboard Noah's ark. (Gen 7:21-22)

The Hebrew word translated "soul" isn't unique to human beings. Its first
appearance is at Gen 1:20-21 in reference to aqua creatures and winged
creatures; again at Gen 1:24 as terra creatures; viz: cattle, creepy crawlies,
and wild beasts; and again in Gen 2:7 as the human creature; and yet again
at Gen 9:10 to classify every creature aboard Noah's ark.

* In the early chapters of Genesis, "soul" isn't something creatures have,
rather, soul is what they are, i.e. sentient forms of life.

When man sins and becomes wicked god says

Mans body of flesh was made of the dust then god breathed into him the spirit of life and man then became a living soul

when we die it’s the opposite our body returns to the dust it was and the spirit in us returns to God who gave it

A man is made of a body of flesh and k side of him is the source of his life the spirit given to all living creatures by God this makes someone a living soul created by the lord in his image

God made man then gave us life within later well part the body and return to the lord for judgement

A living soul which only comes from the Lord

In the beginning, God finished creating all forms of flora and fauna life within
six days. After that, He stopped creating things for the current cosmos and
went on a perpetual sabbatical.

The thing is: new babies aren't due to acts of God creating new souls, viz:
conceptions merely extend Adam's soul; the only man that God ever
created. In other words; human life is a transferrable kind of life. Though
each of us owes our existence to the hand of God, it's not a daily hand. No,
His hand was done with all that way back in the first chapter of Genesis.

● Acts 17:26 . . He made from one, every nation of mankind to live on all the
face of the earth.

I used to think it was terribly unfair of God to condemn Adam's entire
posterity for his one act of disobedience in the forbidden fruit incident till I
realized that although we are all individuals, we are all extensions of
Adam's soul, viz: by means of Adam's soul we were all there with him in real
time tasting that fruit for ourselves.

I realize this is all kind of kooky, but it does help explain the divine magic of
Rom 5:12-21 wherein is revealed we are all sinners as one in Adam the
same as Christians are all righteous as one in Christ.

The breath of life is given to both animals and people, but God breathing into man is different. Giving the unique relationship between God and man.

The difference would be the nephilum... God did not breathe into them life. So he told the people to "annihilate" them. They still had offspring without permission obviously with the fallen angels and daughters of man. So the being was still alive, but not created by God.
