Contrary to this thread, for the first 400 years of the Church nobody has heard of the doctrine you talk about and for another 1500 years nobody had heard of the word calvinism. lol Okay.

Who has the patience to deal with these AI generated calvinist bots? Parroting the same garbage they heard from some scholar that has gotten refuted time and time again and has gotten embarrassed in every debate they have ever been in.
You have been deceived, Tulip Truths are the Gospel.

What I have is not the issue, the real issue is your lack of scriptural evidence which has been demonstrated clearly on this thread and the other related threads.

In scripture, regeneration does not precede faith and neither does scripture state that simple/initial faith is a gift.
Nope. The issue is your denial of truth.

Again, who is the story of Daniel in the lion's den about?

So the opposite of what the Bible teaches? Gotcha.

Already addressed. The prodigal son was "dead" yet he still came to his senses and returned to the Father who gracefully took the repentant son back.

Calvinist arguments are utter garbage. Really easy to refute, you guys portray yourselves as scholars and intellectuals and use fancy vocabulary and categories like common grace, effectual grace bla bla bla, yet you guys are defending a doctrine that is a laughing stock to actual scholars and to ALL of Christianity before Augustine came along. You are alone in the cult of determinism
I never even heard or knew what a Calvinist was until I came to this site. I grew up a wishy washy Roman Catholic, and got saved in a Calvary Chapel.

So you know where you can stick your pejoratives pal.

I simply read the Bible and let the Holy Spirit speak. YOU want to steal God’s Glory by believing YOU are the one who chose Him because you are more intelligent and or more moral than those that hear the Gospel and don’t believe.

So keep boasting!!

You also didn’t address Ephesians 2. We both know why.

Leighton Flowers is doing a good job of it. It is a dying dusty relic of the 1500s for sure. The young restless and reformed are now Old atheist and bitter.

Yes and there are many others carrying the mantle ... he often has them as guests on his channel.

Hasnt nothing to do with it, being Justified by grace. You always bring in the doings of man
So, are you saying that your status before the Lord is invisible? How does that work?
If Christ died for them Yes. Those whom Christ died for are Justified while they are living ungodly lives.m Of course they shall be eventually converted, but nevertheless, they were Justified by grace way before their conversion.
Can you answer the question? If his status is invisible, as you seem to suggest, then how can you say Christ died FOR HIM? Are you just parroting theological facts, or don't you have anything to say to someone who is in doubt about their salvation? Sorry, your status is invisible; your behavior means nothing.

Righteousness-Of-Christ.png

Righteousness Of Christ ~ “The work of God is this: to believe in the One He has sent.” You were dead in the uncircumcision of your sinful nature, in which you used to walk when you conformed to the ruler of the power of the air, the spirit who is now at work in the sons of disobedience. The Son gives life to whom He is pleased to give it. If Christ is in you, your spirit is alive because of righteousness. We put on the righteousness of Christ.

It is a fact that actual and reliable investigation into Calvinism, remembering that the thread title declares Calvinsim to be 'gospel',
has not really occurred. Some, truthfully, have defended what they believe with scripture, albeit understood from a Calvinist position. Others have simply dismissed any assertion that Calvinism, or it's clone 'I am not a Calvinist but I believe just like one.'

The assertions presented as fact by a few, are geared to create a defense rather than actual discussion. The clamoring for attention using this process is loud and littered with things that shout 'look over here'....or 'this verse represents me'.....or 'I am without error' ...or even the more mundane 'you are liars', which, seems to be the most vigorous defence. There is no actual study done by anyone who has the credentials to be believed, that includes the 'you are liars' defence because it is not a defence and indicates a hasty and emotional conclusion that, of course, cannot ever be proved.

Our salvation is only through belief in Christ. No one come to the Father without the atonement of Christ and no one comes to Christ without Faith.

There is absolutely no condition or consideration in which God places His Spirit into a person to assure they will accept the gospel.
The Holy Spirit only enters AFTER a person accept God's gift. He does not stir up belief from the inside; He acknowledges belief from the inside when belief has occurred. The Holy Spirit convicts of sin, He does not dismiss it and save a person before the person is saved.

That is one of the most, if not the most, outrageous claims of Calvinism. It certainly cannot be proven from scripture. That is, scripture kept within the contextual framework it is found in and not relegated to be married to some OT passages or worse, twisted to mean something other than what it actually means.

Please note accusations against other posters have not been made and no one is being called a liar. Obviously, this post is not meant to attack or prove or disprove any text, so I won't be botherd to respond to anyone who mistakenly believes I want to argue with them.

The gospel is not the narrative of Calvin or the clone; it is the 'Good News' that God has provided the perfect sacrifice in His only begotten Son and has provided that, for each and every single person who accepts that fact by faith. That, is my firm conviction and what I believe the Bible attests to.

The gospel is the foundational message of Christianity. It is the historical account of the life, death, and resurrection of Christ, and the offer of salvation and forgiveness of sins. That's it. The implications and applications of this is doctrine. Whatever else Paul was suggesting is truth that results from and clarifies the gospel, but it is not the gospel.

I think you make this harder than it is.
I make it hard when it IS hard. Do you think that salvation is awarded to those who answer correctly on a true/false test? I don't think you do, but maybe you do.

That's what the dark spirits keep telling the gullible, and they love it so.

Jesus also said He paid for the sins of the entire world and it's not His will that any should perish.

The Lord is not part of the calvinist cult. He's smarter than that.

Calvinists take great joy seeing people go to hell which let's everyone know what spirit they are of, the dark spirits.
I suspect this instigator “Shaun gutfeld” is a past banned member. One of their hallmarks is making up a profile and keeping it secret.

Tell us Shaun, you been here before?

You are so dishonest. Why didn't you post my entire response? Oh yeah, it would reveal no contradiction.

It is not contradictory to say a call is genuine AND that God may not exercise power through the call.

SO DISHONEST. You really should be ashamed.

Okay how about makes no sense and not supported by scripture and more eisegesis.

We have already clearly demonstrated the words of God are powerful.

Nope. The issue is your denial of truth.

Again, who is the story of Daniel in the lion's den about?

So then is it your understanding that everyone who does not attest to your personal convictions are not saved?

Do you accept that someone who asks Jesus to be their Savior and 'come into their heart' as a child might or an adult understanding that their sins have separated them from God accepts that Jesus died for their redemption are actually saved apart from Calvinism and will actually totally reject Calvinsim when it is presented to them?

Now you say you are not a Calvinist but you believe the Holy Spirit enters into a person before they believe...yes? no?

Finish the thought. The words of God are powerful for those who believe. This is where grace...God's power...is exercised.

You do not, no person reading the Bible comes across thousands of "come to me" statements and then says "You know what man this acutally means nobody can do it unless God regenerates me first cause it says the natural man cannot receive things of the Spirit in a completely different context written centuries after these coming statements."

Nobody is boasting, bla bla bla. I did adress it ddead in sins doesnt mean unable to believe as the prodigal son was not unable to return he was DEAD, then came to himself and there ya go.

I haven't commented on anyone's spiritual estate.

No one is considering Calvinism when they are being saved. Understanding how one is saved is not necessary to being saved.

Yes. I believe the giving of a new spirit and heart, and the Spirit indwelling an individual is subsequent to and the cause of an individual coming to faith.
