I won't be taking lessons from you, thanks just the same. You say God is not alive. You say the Spirit of God is not alive. You say our spirit is not even alive, but will live forever (oops, I mean it will never die) whether we are born again of the Spirit of God or not. I understand perfectly what you are saying, even though it is nonsense.
If you actually understood you wouldn't be harassing me time and time again with the same paraphrase that I didn't say.
I'm not a teacher and I don't give lessons but I would suggest you take lessons from somebody to understand.
Everything that is alive has a physicality about it and if you don't believe that then you don't understand the definition of life.
I've never said our Spirits live forever I said they don't die but they will exist forever. The actual definition of death has always been the cessation of animation or life. Once you get the basics of the language down then it may be easier for you to move along to full understanding.

Okay. So can you clarify then how one can seek God even though Paul says none can seek God please?

I told you mine.... Unless you are born again you cant seek God. Jesus knew this so thats why he had no problem in saying seek... afterall he knew that some would and some wouldnt and he also knew that it was only going to happen by the Grace of God.

Because im sure you didnt.. You have posted Leighton Flowers but even he doesnt answer the question WHY NONE CAN SEEK GOD? So if he doesnt answer that question then you did?? Ive looked through your posts an nada...

So for the sake of clarity... How can one seek God which Jesus said to do, when Paul says none can seek God?
I'm very clear as to what I said and you keep trying to muddy the waters so as far as I'm concerned re-read everything I posted so far and if you're still unclear then I suggest you get somebody else to explain it to you.

God is Spirit. So to you, God has no life. I get it. You think life is expressed only in physicality. You have made that plain. I repeat exactly what you say back to you and you call that me harassing you.

Post 307 and 308 na dah..... post 325 you accuse me of being flaw but dont say WHY? Why cant you just answer the question now... why do you keep avoiding it?

How can one seek God if one is blind?

You say you have answered it but i cant find it? So why dont you just answer the question now?

That is not what Jesus said. He specifically said that the words He spoke were life. I will take His word for it over yours :) As far as I am concerned, you fall into the category of the last sentence below:

It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing:
the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

But there are some of you that believe not.

I find it hard to believe you didn't understand this in the first place, but the fact is you have continually repeated it and I'm getting sick of it. Yes continually bringing up the same questions in my mind as harassment. I'm now going to start saying "asked and answered" to everyone that continually repeats themselves and their questions. If you don't accept the answer then just say so because it's much easier to move on from that than to waste time repeating myself.

Again if you can't tell the difference between metaphor, hyperbole, or literalness then you're wasting your time reading the Bible.

Im not playing games? That was an honest question? WHERE CAN I FIND IT???????? HONESTLY WHERE????
Start from where I started posting and move onwards from there and stop yelling. I'm not going to respond to you again in this thread until you change your attitude. I see you're only twenty-three but that doesn't mean you have to act like a child.

I understand you said that God the Father and the Holy Spirit are not alive. You will have to retract those statements before I stop repeating them back to you. So far you have stubbornly hung on to your unBiblical position.

No, you're saying that, I said what I said. We need to be born again because Jesus said so... Is that not enough for you?
Do you only accept the rationale in the word of God as you understand it or do you accept it as it is? I never said that people's Spirits were alive I said the spirit doesn't die and for the exact reason that it's not necessarily alive it exists in a non-corporeal state which is not life. God exists and is only alive in the person of Jesus Christ, the Father and the Holy Spirit are not alive but they do possess and are able to impart to us eternal life.

Well you may have skimmed through the article but you definitely didn't read it or you would not be asking me this question the bottom line is people throughout history of sought God, that's why there are many religions.
You also seem to forget that there's an Old Testament full of men who saught God so obviously your understanding of 'none seek God' is flawed and out of context.
This is Post 235 an you say that none seek God is flawed and out of context?? Okay all i want to know is how and why?

My answer is simple... None seek God in and of themselves. Jesus said seek therefore seeking must come out of heart thats been transformed by the spirit. Thats why Paul can say none seek God because they cant seek God unless the spirit intervenes. This does not pose a problem with Jesus saying seek because he knows that those who do, do so by the spirits intervention. Right? Do you agree?

I don't take the being born again of the Spirit of God to be a metaphor. Jesus Christ holds the keys to life and death. If you are not found in Him at the end of the age, you pass into death. If your name remains in the Lamb's book of life you are granted life ever after. Life and death are not metaphors.

Ppl have to mitigate words to fit their theology.

Hate does not mean hate, just to love less..
Wrath does not mean wrath, just indignation...another person on another site said that to me that...
Death does not mean death, just being separated from God...

So, if that's the case, how can we know God's love is really love? Could it mean it's just more tolerant of our faux pas than the non-believers?

Nothing is definitive, just relative. Sad day we live in.

Assume what ? You assume we can seek God so im not the one assuming anything am I? Im not assuming but merely reconciling scriptures. Jesus said seek so you assume that we can???? But Paul says none seek God so please stop saying im assuming when all im doing is trying to deal with both scriptures whereas you are not but simply avoiding. :) so stop avoiding Pauls statement when he says "none can seek God" afterall that was the article posted by you not Jesus.

He's pitting scripture against scripture, a YUGE no-no in hermeneutics.

lol acting as a child. Seriously? Okay then......

Dont ever come to a discussion if your not prepared to give an answer. It shows that your not competent but ignorant to the person who asks a simple question over and over again.

If you cannot give an answer say so rather saying you dont need too. Again it shows your pride and ignorance to a honest question. I have asked multiple times and then i asked why not clarify and answer the question NOW but again you ignore.

also in saying if you didn't answer the question then your lying that you have. Lying is serious and not to be taken lightly.

this is not mockery but fact. You refuse to answer the question based on a claim that you dont need to. The reason why you dont need to is because you already have. I cant find this already have answered question and ask if you could clarify now... and then you refuse again and start calling people childish at 23.

So conclusion: Either your ignorant and lying or your pride wont allow you to answer the question now. simple as that.

Now we can move on from this :)

btw im not yelling, im stating the emphasis by capital letters and black bolding.

I find you quite mature and very wise in the ways of God, your age notwithstanding.
In fact I have had to do a double-take on your age more than once because you come across as much more learned and experienced in God's Word than your age alone could suggest.
