Here's a video where well known calvinists claiming God actually causes evil to happen. One guy actually claims God orders people to commit adultery against their spouse!

Here these crazy unbiblical claims for yourself:

The Lord brought my eyes directly to James 1:13,14 right after listening to these fake preachers of vile heresy.

13Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: 14But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
James

I've read that large portions of scripture are POLEMICS, which means critical responses. If you are clueless, read the sermon on the mount, from the beatitudes to the lord's prayer, all polemics on what had been done wrong - "you've heard ... but I say unto you ..." Likewise, all pauline epistles are his counselling to various issues in each of these early churches. Therefore, correct interpretation requires understanding of the original issues in the original historical context. If you don't know anything about the historical context, neither will you understand the response.

To make a perhaps inappropriate example, you study american civil war, canonical documents tell you that it's all about slavery and racism; then there's a new research providing a new view, that the primary cause is dispute over western territory and economic policy, the north wanted to build factories, the south plantations; the north wanted strong currency and high tariff for local industry development, the south weak currency and low tariff for exports and imports with europe. The war erupted at the point when these two economic models could no longer coexist. But if you don't know anything about the civil war, if you don't even know such a civil war ever existed, you apply this view on some other wars in other historical eras, then you'll surely get lost.

Blah blah blah, calvinism is still heresy

Exactly, and here's a related scripture to that

Galatians 6:7-8 (see Gen 8:22)
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

God is not the one deciding what seed a man sows.

Those claiming man does not reap what he sows are mocking God!

Calvinists are God mockers.

I certainly think those preachers you posted are. I used to listen to a closet Calvinist who never came out to say those things they did, so he wasn't that extreme. We members of the church didn't all agree with everything he said, as eloquent and dogmatic he was. So, I don't think all Calvinists would agree on that point because I have seen a documentary where a Calvinist pastor led people to Christ with the right gospel. But the popular ones Like Sproul, White, and the ones in the video mock God as the author of vile sins that He condemns. God is not contradictory.

That said I noticed my former pastor would present the gospel from the pulpit but never imparted evangelist motivation or seemed to appreciate me doing evangelism. His belief system of" irresistible grace" removed all incentive to witness to the lost.

The Quran says,
"Alah will send to heaven whom he pleases. He will send to hell whom he pleases."

What does that sound like?

..."Alah has predestined those.'

I don't follow demonic teachings so forum leadership should strike and remove all posts quoting the koran which are writings of satan

I don't think all Calvinists would agree

Then they are bad calvinists who are not following the devil as closely as their calvinist brethren

It's sad to hear you rejected the leading of the Holy Spirit in deciding to continue to sit under false doctrine.

It would be better to not attend church at all then to continue to sit under false doctrine.

Don't get too awful sad.
I'd hate to make you cry.
😄

People grow in grace and in the knowledge of their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I had some growing up to do and I wasn't fed by my local baptist church pastor. The non-denominational closet 2 point (whatever) Calvinists pastor was recommended by the former pastor as the only one on the radio worth listening to. He spent a lot of time studying and sounded like a fundamentally sound KJV, right gospel, etc.
As time goes, so people change for better or worse. I used my Bible filter as he changed until I finally left. Regrets for staying longer than I should have?
Of course, but I might say the same of any one of these threads.

Why not post a few verses from the "satanic bible" while you are at it?

Relax, you don't have that capability.

Of course the Quran is wicked.
Do you think I'm suggesting it as a scriptural proof text to defend Calvinism?.
The Mormon books are wicked too.
I guess I won't cite a quotation from any of those to prove my point, just as you posted the wicked men speaking likewise in your original post. Have I criticized your use of the source heresy?

Having started the thread, I just thought you would recognize the unique thread between all of those religious dogmas from Islam and Mormonism.
Predestination, the last pedal on the TULIP.

Yeah so let's not quote islam stuff without a proper disclaimer.

The same goes for quoting mormans and catholics and all the other fake religions.

I am familiar with some of the gnostic beliefs. I might have missed it, but how does Calvinism relate?

I'm not sure, but think I see what you mean.
Can you give me an example?

Yeah, they believe in limited atonement.

God's Word does not teach that God wants most people to go to hell and Jesus only went to the Cross for a a few who just happen to be calvinists

So calvinists claim they have special revelation from God that teaches this and they are the only ones God taught that too.

In other words they don't teach what the Bible teaches.

I would ask to prove this statement, but know people usually ignore follow up questions. I would say, predestination is highly complex topic, but I will leave this meme for rebuttal.

I would ask to prove this statement

They teach things that the the Lord does not teach in His Word due to their claim that "we are special and have special understanding that others cannot grasp", then they tell others that they should "sit down, shut up, and we'll tell you what to believe"

Calvinists are thew poster child for what NOT to do
