I've been having a lot of thoughts these days. Can a Christian support Biden? I want to hear what you all think.

Well I suppose it matters on how you define what it is to be a Christian. The simplistic answer is that God gave you a free will. If you're saved - You are his child & you have His Spirit in you.
Voting/supporting Biden or Trump or Godzilla for that matter is up to you. As a Christian you have a personal relationship with God. He loves us no matter what obviously, so yes , I think you can be a Christian and support Biden. Now it's up for debate on if that's a good thing or not? That's not really Worth going into.
I've heard Christians on both sides argue their point on if you do or don't vote for so and so then yer decieved or evil. I say listen to your heart. Do what you do in Faith. Be open to what The Lord is speaking to You. Period.
God can and has redeemed many of our bad choices or mistakes via His Grace & Mercy. So that's my 2 cents. 😃

Yes.. I know some that do. Now I personally question why they would but... :) I am not looking at BOTH in a personal way but what they stand for. Its hard to find the truth.. you have to look out side of the media to get to the real story most of the time.

That being said.. the Father has used people through out time that we/man would never have picked. Seems His ways can be higher then ours. haha

I think you can, as in you have the free will to support whoever you want. But I don't know why a Christian would when they have removed Gods name from their platform. Biden and Harris both support abortion, to the point that Biden's own Catholic church will not allow him to take communion. They are both for defunding police, abolishing ICE and free healthcare for illegals. On top of all of that, they support socialism/communism. So honestly I don't know why someone who says they are Christian would vote for Biden, especially since he will be overtaken by Bernie and "the squad".

I think both candidates will say that we should tolerate gays. Both would probably be for allowing them to be married. We should oppose that. However neither will probably ever be involved in passing or revoking such a law on the issue, so what they say about their personal views on every topic does not mean that you are promoting that particular view by voting for one or the other. It is not that simple and people who try to tell you that it is are very ignorant about the way things work in the government of the USA.

Vote you conscience and tell everyone to mind their own business.

If either candidate could reduce taxes by half while in office I would vote for that candidate whether he thought women should have a right to abort babies or not. If he is not going to be able to influence the abortion issue, but was going to be able to lower taxes he would get my vote because voting for him would not kill babies as ignorant people attempt to suggest.

Examine what the candidate can realistically accomplish and vote accordingly.

I would agree.

I would add as well... are they presenting a realistic and doable agenda?
People get pulled into hype and sound bites ...like "lock her up."
Like that was going to happen.. smh

Yes. I support trump because in my view he is clearly the better choice to lead this country but in all honesty politics in general is a mess and is mans game not god's God is in control and knows all things whoever is chosen I trust God has a plan.

But God looks to the persons heart not who they support in a game of political chess

The two major issues that I look for when deciding who to vote for are:
  1. Abortion - does the candidate actively support abortion? If so, no vote
  2. Allies with Israel - does the candidate actively support Israel? If not, then no vote as all countries who divide her land shall be judged in the valley of Jehoshaphat
As for the current democratic party? They fail on both accounts.
I have other issues which I look for such as 2nd Amendment rights, Federal overreach in power not delegated by the Constitution etc, but that's from a Constitutional/legal perspective and has nothing to do with biblical perspective.

As a Christian, my moral compass points me to vote for Joe Biden. Joe Biden represents moral decency in this election. As a Christian I have major problems with Trump and the republican party as a whole. Namely corruption, deception and cruelty. I do think Joe Biden will end the policy of family separation at the border(love thy neighbor). I do not think Joe Biden will use his office to enrich himself or his children as Trump does. I do not see Biden as having major links to organized crime figures who practice murder, money laundering, and drug dealing as Trump has numerous close ties with these types. I do not see Biden trying to ignore the rule of law and order as Trump so brazenly does. I do not see Biden trying to become a dictator as I can easily see Trump attempting to do so. I do not like the look of Trump's America which has seen a pandemic, an economic crash and riots in the streets. I believe Biden will stabilize the economy and being stronger on crime and violence in the streets. I do not feel safe in Trump's America. If Biden wins, I will breathe a sigh of relief that less people will succumb to violence and ill health. I find Biden to be warmer, more honest, more compassionate. If Trump is reelected I see more violence, secret police, lawlessness. I can see no reason why any Christian would vote for Trump but all should vote their conscience.

So Bidens corruption and deception don't bother you. Cruelty? May I ask what you mean by that?

I do think Joe Biden will end the policy of family separation at the border(love thy neighbor).
Love thy neighbor has nothing to do with with illegal immigrants. Did Obama/Biden being the deporter in chief bother you? Did you know the ACLU wrote letters to Obama/Biden about his immigration policies? And that families were separated when he was in office, and put in cages? As someone who came to the US legally, waited in line, paid thousands of dollars to stay here I have a big issue with people who come here illegally and get free healthcare, housing and benefits my family couldn't get waiting in line legally like we were suppose to do.

Joe Bidens current homes....

I do not see Biden trying to become a dictator as I can easily see Trump attempting to do so.
I don't know what Biden will do, but there are people behind him that are going to make sure their agenda is carried out. I guaruntee you, Bernie will have this country turned Communist in the blink of an eye. Biden is just a pawn being used till the election is over.

I do not like the look of Trump's America which has seen a pandemic, an economic crash and riots in the streets. I believe Biden will stabilize the economy and being stronger on crime and violence in the streets. I do not feel safe in Trump's America.
You've got to be joking. The pandemic was thanks to China as was the economic crash because we had to close down. Riots in the streets are directly on the Dems backs. They encouraged it and then when it got out of control they sat on their hands and refused to ask for help. Totally on the Dem governers and mayors. Biden wants to defund police. Seriously. smh
And as far as economy he wants to put thousands out of work by getting rid of oil, raising taxes and shutting down the economy again. He puts a lid on his work day at 10am. I doubt Joe will be doing anything for the economy.

If Biden wins, I will breathe a sigh of relief that less people will succumb to violence and ill health.
Ah, yes, you're probably right, BLM and Antifa will stop burning down cities and beating/murdering people in the street once ol' Joe gets in. The Dems have handled it so wonderfully so far... like Portland, Ny, Washington, yes, yes, I'm sure it will all be better when Uncle Joe gets in. Of course the violence of abortion doesn't count, right?! That doesn't count as "ill health". smh

He wants to unify the country. His words are less abrasive, less hurtful, less divisive. Trump encourages violence and disruption on both sides. HJoe says let's come together. I like that.

So Bidens corruption and deception don't bother you. Cruelty? May I ask what you mean by that?

Not seeing corruption from Joe. His son has some issues but is not running for president. Still I would say Hunter's corruption is nothing compared with Ivanka/Jared.

Really? I consider foreigners trying to come here for a better life my neighbours. They should go through a process but they should be treated humanely. I don't think Obama had a good immigration policy but I know he did not have a policy of separating families in order to discourage illegal immigration. Illegal immigrants should not get benefits that you waited patiently for. There will be some who take advantage but many many more are decent people who should be helped.

Joe Bidens current homes....

So he has some nice houses. I do not see how that makes him corrupt.

I don't know what Biden will do, but there are people behind him that are going to make sure their agenda is carried out. I guaruntee you, Bernie will have this country turned Communist in the blink of an eye. Biden is just a pawn being used till the election is over.

I do not think you understand what communism is. In communism, the state controls all aspects of commerce. Bernie advocates free college and universal health care, policies which exist in most developed countries who also happen to not be communist. Unless you are labeling all countries like Canada, the UK, germany, New Zealand, etc communist.

You've got to be joking. The pandemic was thanks to China as was the economic crash because we had to close down. Riots in the streets are directly on the Dems backs. The pandemic started in China and there are some ways they mishandled it and some of the blame can be laid at them. The response to the pandemic has to blamed in part on the Trump admin. Not taking precautions seriously. There were numerous plans put forward by scientists and pandemic experts that could have thwarted the majority of the loss of life and prevented the economic pain that is happening. Trump understood the severity. He could have shut down the country sooner and more vigorously, encouraged mask wearing. If we had followed these protocols early on for a period of 6 to 10 weeks we could have put the virus in check and be back to a prosperous economy right now. We should get rid of oil, gradually, in a way that sustains the economy. Renewables will actually grow the economy so not sure why anyone would be against that. The Lord gave us dominion over the earth meaning this is his house and we are the caretakers. Getting rid of oil is a blessing. Joe works 12 hour days. He just does not do meaningless and iresponsible rallies so supporters can beat their chests and mock reality.

Ah, yes, you're probably right, BLM and Antifa will stop burning down cities and beating/murdering people in the street once ol' Joe gets in. The riots happened in Trump's America. Enough said. Oh but also it has been shown that most of the burning that took place was perpetrated by right wing agiatators. They arrested a proud boys member for burning a police station that all on the right blamed on the protestors. All violence counts. If abortion was the only issue, I might vote otherwise. Don't think abortion laws are necessarily the solution.

Yes, so much more honest and moral...

Comparatively, yes so much more...

He stood by Israel and did what he promised to do. Many presidents before him made the same promises but didn't have the guts to back it up. Biden will undo this straight out of the gate, and apologize to the Muslims. And we know Biden/Harris's stance on pro-life. If for only those two reasons alone, Christians should vote for Republicans.

I think christians dont have to vote for anybody if we choose not to.

A lot of politicans chase the Christian vote and then just end up doing the opposite when they are in power anyway, which is mostly what happens as they are by nature, politicians!

Do a thought experiment what would you do if YOU were in power. I think a lot of people would just cave into whoever is in the majority and doing whatever their families and friends ask them or boss them into deciding. and of course whoever has the most money. You'd probably make your immediate circle happy and life difficult for anybody else who didnt agree with you.

Just because some idea is not seen in the mainstream press or it is not typical to what you may hear it does not make it not true. Many have been fooled.
