I've been really interested in being a Catholic lately i Dont know if its a bad thing but my grandma said as long they believe that Jesus is the son of god than That's not bad

Yes they believe in Jesus and I believe are saved. Things that are not Biblical would be praying to Saints, honoring Mary as you would Jesus and some believe in Purgatory still. I worked for a Catholic priest for 3-1/2 yrs and he would ask me what I think of certain beliefs they had. At one time he asked how I felt about God being male+female and of course God is always referred to as our Father. But I think the majority are getting past these old traditions. I pass a Catholic Church with Jesus with out-stretched arms on top of it and I imagine it to be quite beautiful inside. So these are things to think about bc serious times are at play now. God bless
Can they be saved? Yes, if they repent their involvement in a false Christianity and turn to the true Jesus. Many false religions claim to believe Jesus is the son of God. It takes more than simply saying you believe something; you have to obey the truth.
I would love to know the answer to this too - I believe you're either saved/unsaved, and so theoretically it shouldn't matter what denomination you are? BUT some of the catholic teachings are extremely problematic

I had Roman Catholic grandmothers too. In fact my grandfather almost became a priest, so I wouldn't be talking to you right now if he did. They are forbidden to marry. Both sides of my family were Catholic and was raised going to church by a Mom who taught Sunday school.
I was taught a lot of correct things in that church.
For instance, we were taught about One God in three Persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Jesus was miraculously born of a virgin. He took on humanity while retaining His divinity 100%. We believed in literal miracles and that the Bible was God's infallible Holy Word. I'm grateful for that teaching and that planted seeds of truth that many in this world do not have the honor of knowing.
As a teenager, I'm very grateful for the man who cared enough to show me exactly what the Bible says that we must do to get to Heaven. He wasn't RC, and I was a bit skeptical, because I didn't want just another opinion.
Catholicism teaches that works of every person are essential for salvation, namely the sacraments. My Dad didn't believe in the exclusive salvation in the Catholic Church as we were taught. I reasoned that the Bible was what God gave to mankind and that denominations were made up of people who are fallible.
That's why I took the verse references that man left for me and asked God upon my knees at my bedside what He knows to be true about salvation.
Rather than write it all out in a lengthy post, I'll provide you with two short videos on the subject. Feel free to ask me any questions you might have after that and I'll get back to you this weekend.

problematic ????? they are 100% pagan
@XavierD284929 when you're well versed in the Bible, you'll be able to detect and discern true doctrines of God from falsehoods created by 'curches' and other establishments who take the Lords name in vain, like the part of catholicism that HealthAndHappiness reveals.
There always has to be that little bit of yeast; that one part of their teaching that just isn't supported by scripture.
There's nothing in the bible that talks about sacraments or Mary divinity. In scripture, preachers are supposed to be married to wives, not forbidden from doing so.
I reccomend letting the Bible be your church and those who respect its words be those among you in the pews, whether you can be with them physically or remotely; in thought and in presence.

Fortunately, and lot of church members, regardless of the denomination, rely on the shed blood of Jesus to cover their sins, and the Holy Spirit to cleanse their heart's and to comfort and guide them in the life-long repentance process.

I have attended many church services through the years and have found that I am most at peace when attending a Catholic mass. I have not found this type of peace in the other church services I have attended.Yes they believe in Jesus and I believe are saved. Are any church members who attend other types of church services problematic as well? Are we all problematic?
most others, maybe 95%, follow catholic doctrines. so is that not a problem, it is for me?
Are they born again? Do they put their faith and trust in Christ alone and not idols or do they call anyone here on earth Father? Is their salvation free or is it based on their own works? Do they add to the Word of God with other books, sacraments and traditions? My biggest issue with Catholicism is the history of violence and greed under the RC system. Giving one man authority(pope) as if he is God and worshipping him is a huge red flag. As well as any of the statues(idolatry)and praying to anyone besides Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior(one mediator, the way, the truth and the life) alone is a false religion. It’s a false religion. I’ll say it again. It’s a false religion. False religions like Islam will even add Jesus in as a prophet but that’s all they believe about Him and so does every other false religion. They add Jesus Christ on their walls or in their books but they do not have faith in Him alone or know Him because they have another Jesus. He warned us that many false Christs would arise and lead many astray.

Sounds problematic.
It is best to follow sound biblical doctrine and practices than to just simply accept the doctrine and practices of the various denominations without question. This is why I decided to not attend Catholic mass anymore or accept any of their teachings which obviously are contrary to scripture.
This is not to say though that those that identify as being Catholic are not Christians, have not received salvation, and are eventually, upon death, going to hell. I don't believe this as all and neither does scripture support this.
Catholics have as much a chance of being saved as Protestants do. Both traditions have taken portions of scripture and place greater emphasis on those specific portions, while placing less on other portions. The big difference is in which portions are emphasized and which are regarded as lesser.
