Shall I say the law is evil, and break them any time it pleases me, hedonistically or otherwise?
Can anyone save himself? Only by the grace allowed by the sacrifice of Yeshua is any man saved.
If one breaks laws at will having accepted Jesus Christ's holy and tremendous sacrifice for us, he then tramples the Blood of the Lamb of Yahweh.
What I will do then is observe the laws, but live in the gift of grace.
Do not say to yourself or to others it is impossible to know which laws are to be obeyed when your new nature tells you from the heart. If you do not know by your new nature, I fear you have no new nature.
Jesus Christ came to fulfill the teachings (which contain the law) and the prophets.
He fulfilled them for me, thus the law is now nothing to fear, and mercy will always trump those laws not to be observed. Circumstances trump the ceremonial and geographical laws. There really is not much more to be said.
The law is very much alive, but it's curse has been annihilated on the cross.
