Id sure like this to stop Sis. Name the person who did this! Who? on this site said they only wanted
salvation. And is teaching people to not obey. This line of talk has been going on through this thread.
Lets have some evidence or else your gona have to just stop that. Its only a ploy to sell your point,
But in case im wrong name the people...provide the post #s I think this is reduculous. Your not discussing
your really almost slandering and name calling, and ranting. Thats how it looks from where i sit.

i will have some tasty treats while im waiting.
Help yourself anyone.
I love how they do this. They think we teach this and then send a baby in Christ out in the world and expect them to just change by themselves. That is the reason God instituted church communities and discipleship. so we can help a person Grow in Christ, and be there to help them when they struggle.
You won't get an answer, because they can't find one, it is just their excuse to answer their own legalism. It is the same reason the pharisee rejected Christ, He said all they had to do is believe in him to be saved, they laughed at him also.
By your doubt in the promises of God.
A very long time ago, in the eons of threading, it was asked:
How can a man lose his salvation for continuing in sin. When God says he cant continue in sin. If he cant then how could he lose his salvation for it? Theres no way out of this.
-- How can a man become stubborn to God's beckoning once he has been delivered from his bondage, as those in the wilderness did? What becomes of a man who resists the tilling of the Spirit and produces only thorns and biers, whose curse is a burning? People say we cannot sin (seeing that we have the seed of God in us). This is true. But the grieving of the Spirit, which Spirit is only giving to the sons as a seal of the Covenant, is the only unpardonable sin. When we do not yield to His tilling, all the more, we become a wasteland, and as we abandon Him in His working of us toward perfection, He sets there with tears in His eyes, grieved in knowing no appropriate herbs can be produced. Grieve not the Spirit who was given to you, the sons and daughters of God.
BOOKSENDS, BOOKSENDS, why dost thou persecute me?
Yes, it's true, one who has Me and spits me out can NOT come again to repentence .
Why are these verses so hard to understanD, OSAS ?
()(()()()()()))DEAR LORD....AMEN, my sweet heavenly Father, why![]()
-------------
Mari, the above verses fully explain WHY we are to follow Him by virtue of what will happen when we have been reborn of God, of Him, and, then left Him, which can, indeed, happen.
The Scripture Ariel posted is fully explaining to that God wants us to assume His Helper unto our being.![]()
, I pray with wisdom from ReignisHis, cfultz and others efectively preaching Truth , from Scripture. Tis is heavy, heavy stuff right now, the heaviest I've become involved with doing and the Lord leads me now to judge righteously, and, vteling others that they are saved by grace, without the THROUGH FAITH part (of ephesians 2:8) is FALSE to a 'firey lake' core of teaching. It is essence of falsely teaching and not assuming ownership of understanding of the whole of the Word which is ALL written for Holy Spirit inspired reproof and correction. (1 Tim. 3:16)
Note: I tried to talk last night again but was on this thread, as you see I answered your question, but, I will say this: Following the Holy Spirit is an active, knowing act, and, Jesus makes that clear by saying He is giving us a 'Helper' after He leaves but He MUST be 'received,' and Bristle also MUST 'permit' Him to come unto us . Some Scripture for latter said is Hebrews 6:3 . God bless you, too, milady![]()
.............Grieving the Holyspirit...how did you spin that into the unforgivable sin? -- How is the Spirit grieved? Rejection? Sins against the Father is forgiven. Sins agains the Savior is forgiven. We know that the administration of the Spirit is to woo souls into salvation. To grieve Him in this process means to reject His wooing and thus by such, He is griefed (held back). Perhaps it is my fault for your misunderstand, seeing that 'grieving' has more than one dimension
Id agree a myriad of things we do can grieve the HolySpirit. To include the unforgivable sin is wrong to say. Although it could be on the list. Your using it in a way that you imply that someone who grieved the HolySpirit would not be forgiven. That was upseting to read. Im very sorry for saying you put a spin on it. It wasnt meant to be as hard as you took it..so sorry. There is a very good reason to never grieve the Spirit of God, aside from your salvation.
Abiding, instead of asking someone to explain themselves, which is the least one can do in a civil conservation and one thing I am more than willing to do, you instead accuse me again of being a spin doctor. This is unbecoming. If you do not agree with me, that is fine, but please do not attack me in a manner which makes me look diabolic, if not a down right spinner of Truth.
Ill apologise again..ill try to clean up my act. Thanks for bringing it up.
Those in the wilderness..were not Born of God. -- Not a one of all humans who has ever lived before Christ's death and the introduction of the Spirit was ever reborn, seeing that they were of the Law, but we, under Christ, are spiritually reborn. The moral of that story was their deliverance from their burdon and on their way to God's rest, some fell to the way side by their actions.
Fell yes in a hard heart of unbelief...they never entered into His rest. If you take that as being condemned/hell bound..then i think your mistaken. They applied the blood in Egypt before they were delivered. But God refused to allow them to have a fullness of blessing and rest promiced. Even tho daily they ate the manna and seen His works.
Did the verse say he can not continue in habitual sin? -- This one.1John 5:18We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.
NIV /18We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin; the one who was born of God keeps him safe, and the evil one cannot harm him. 19We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil oneCOLOR]
What was the intent if the Holyspirit in that verse? -- waiting for the verse.
And those having falling in the wilderness after their deliverance from bondage? Did they not make their heart stubborn to God's Voice after this action of salvation? Are we not taught of this backsliding from the lession of Hebrews 6:7-8. Does not those two verses speak of one who will not let the Spirit till him into perfection. And by which resistance, that person produces thrones and briers, whose end is for a burning?
it's such a false teaching to THINK that someone can't turn from their sin more than once, they can't make mistakes and then come back to Christ. Hey, as long as someone is alive they can REPENT. Now, sinning willfully requires a lot of repenting so one has to decide IF they really want to do it and their works get burned up too. ,if they die in a 'prodigal' state of lukewarm behavior. Or, wait, God spits you OUT for being 'neither hot nor cold...hmm, and, so,yeah, that's a GRAY salvation area but, this is not...All the people in the Church saved Cfultz?
Hebrews 6:4
New King James Version (NKJV)
4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, 5 and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, (there is only one more age to come after this, the eternal state! sorry, i just had to through that in there) 6 if they fall away, (from the gathering, from the teaching that could and will saved them, the church, the gospel) to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame.
Here!, straight from the book of Hebrews. Perhaps not all the people in the Jerusalem Church (I'm assuming the writer had the Jerusalem church in mind) were saved. I'm not gonna go around pointing the finger is who or who isn't saved, but I believe the bible teaches that there are some among us who think they are saved, but actually have a spurious faith. The writer is saying once you've been regenerated, it is impossible to lose you're salvation and go back into Judaism, for you can't get saved twice, it's a one time deal. And to say you're saved and to go back to Judaism means you've never been saved to begin with or confused, hence if you fluctuate between the two you put Christ's name to shame. It doesn't no mean you can't come back into the church and have an authentic conversion or repentance. So when it is an authentic repentance and accepting of the blood, you are sealed by the Holy Spirit and can't go back to Judaism, and if one did, I'm sure the Lord would have a whole lot chastising to do.
Their deliverance was from the bondage of the Egyptians, not from the bondage of Sin. Their deliverance was but a type of deliverance we experience when we put our trust in the atoning work of Christ. Yes they did make their hearts stubborn, but God reserved from himself a remnant who's hearts still clung to Him. Those who progress backwards in their faith, or non-faith rather, all their life and never call on the Lord authentically for forgives are not saved. Many will speak of the Lord as their savior, but the Lord is far from them. But as long as God keeps that person alive that person always has the chance to have His sin wiped clean by the blood of Jesus. Judas is a prime example of this, he was only interested in the things that were on the Masters table, not in the Master himself.
Peter denied Christ 3 times, but received the forgives of God. Did not Jesus say if we deny the Him He will deny us before the Father. Matt. 10:23
33 But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven. Thus using your rules for salvation, Peter lost his salvation. Put a fork in it! I done with it
