I’m sorry, not, but the RCC does NOT get to dictate what we believe, or not believe.

They were the literal and historical Council in 325 AD that chose which Books made up the Bible.

It's interesting that you don't know this information as the majority of us do here at CC and debating whether it's fact or not.

Roman Catholic Church

Do we know that when Paul was writing personal Letters to Timothy he was thinking one day this will be like the Tanakh but in New Testament format Version Bible?
Somehow I think they knew that God was directing them all to write various things, using each man’s style of writing.

All was written for our benefit, and was written so beautifully. Only God could’ve directed such a task.

Read this it's clearly Paul's opinion.

Timothy 2:12, "I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man; she must be quiet".

He writes that HE {Paul} don't permit...
Nothing about God.
All about what Paul permits.

Did God Inspire this knowing that God in the flesh promoted Mary Madeline and Inspired Peter to write she was an Apostle like the Disciples?

I don’t see where women were apostles. There were only 12 apostles, all male. They may have helped the men in the ministry, taking care of food, clothing, etc, but nothing else can be seen. There were wives helping their husbands, but never in major roles.

In God’s church, there are no females who hold office other than teach young children.

All of the letters written were for our understanding, our benefit.

Have you read the story about Pharaoh and Moses where it tells us Pharaoh hardened his heart and then God made it permanent because Romans 9 doesn't mention that part.

Nor is there another example anywhere in the Bible about Potter and Clay because this is Paul's expression like when he said Speaking in Tongues is Angel Language and we know this is not true.

Paul gives a lot of personal opinion like he said in Timothy that he, being himself, doesn't allow women preaching. He didn't say God doesn't allow it he said that he doesn't allow it

So you need to understand sometimes you're getting Paul's opinion.

After all, these were Letters Paul wrote. Of course some of it will be his opinion only.

Hi, yes I have lol. I remember reading that in the fear of the Lord like please, father, do not harden my heart lol. But that's kind of what I am getting at in further reference to Romans 9 - if God wills something for "bad" (as we see it) ultimately, we know it's for the ultimate good or for the will of the father to exert His will on all creation (whether through wrath or other means.)

As far as angel language, I automatically am reminded of our heavenly prayer language which is talked about in 1 Corinthians 14:2 & Romans 8:26. I can't know for sure but I do believe what Paul is referring to there is our heavenly language.

But, I never thought about it that way. I do have to consider/ look into it more who wrote what in the bible and what that means as far as how that changes what was written. Ultimately, I do consider however that all of the bible is written or inspired by the holy spirit based on 2 Timothy 3:16 "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness" so, I would have to disagree that it's just "Paul's opinion." I would have to say it is the will of God/ God inspired/ suggested by the Lord himself.

I do think telling women not to teach was circumstantial based on what was occurring at the time Paul gave that instruction (during a time of disorderly/ chaotic conduct - which I would still say was the Lord's will at the time)

Ultimately God is sovereign and how far our free will goes I am not sure, in regards to all that has been shared or added upon.

Flash back on something I remember. A Major group saying once saved all saved cut your hair get saved no loose your salvation .story short I just had HS in me no scripture throw out and they couldn't convince me in no way they kept getting other members try they failed then they the highest leader and He couldn't get Me to budge like 15 people to 1 then may one other back up can they just All walked away The wild part The head Keader all sudden hade Respect toward Me and my friend that alone was God alone. What I said to them was I have free Will and at the time they had no answer response. I still ran into them here there still had respect both ways later on few Years to Evolved with their teaching ,starting With Free will .I often credit the ? Because it made their untruth stronger but what I got out it one Man in Christ can change a whole religion .try see how big something like this could be? Fig I just share bottom line stand up for Jesus .Yes He in me exercise free will I have already given my will to him .I have not taking that right back from the Lord and none reason too

This maybe rhetorical, and yes, but my point was, this doctrine started 100’s of yrs post Jesus’ preaching so it can’t be correct.

Yes, but again I must fine-tune your statement, because it is not the date of the doctrine that makes it incorrect but its demeaning of divine omnilove and justness.

Your post indicates the need to harmonize 1Tim. 2:12 with Gal. 3:28.
Your attempt?

All of Paul's writings within the Bible were inspired by God.

[1Co 7:10, 12 KJV]
10 And unto the married I command, [yet] not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from [her] husband: ...
12 But to the rest speak I, not the Lord: If any brother hath a wife that believeth not, and she be pleased to dwell with him, let him not put her away.
**Nevertheless, Paul was still speaking/writing under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit as he so informs us of in vs 7:40

[1Co 7:40 KJV] 40 But she is happier if she so abide, after my judgment: and I think also that I have the Spirit of God.

[1Co 7:25 KJV] 25 Now concerning virgins I have no commandment of the Lord: yet I give my judgment, as one that hath obtained mercy of the Lord to be faithful.

[1Co 2:13 KJV] 13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

[1Co 14:37 KJV] 37 If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.

[1Th 2:13 KJV] 13 For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received [it] not [as] the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.

[Gal 1:11-12 KJV]
11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.
12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught [it], but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

[2Pe 3:15-16 KJV]
15 And account [that] the longsuffering of our Lord [is] salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;
16 As also in all [his] epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as [they do] also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

In Jesus' day the roles of women did not include leadership over men, but the seed of equality was planted
by verses such as Matt. 12:42, 20:26, Gal. 3:28 and Eph. 5:21.

Its too bad you feel that way about Gods Gospel and God

Re my saying that tulip is a pseudo-Gospel, a perversion demeaning God's justness and omnilove: It is not because of feeling but rather because of belief in GW and DL based on Scriptures I have posted many times but you choose to ignore.

For truthseeking readers of this post, here they are again:

God loves and wants to save everyone. Seven Scriptures teaching divine omnilove include: 1JN 4:7-12, RM 5:8, MT 5:44&48, GL 5:6&14, EPH 3:17b-19, EPH 5:2 and 1TM 2:3-4, which might be deemed the “7 pearls”. Christ died to show God’s love and the possible salvation of all (RM 5:6-8) including His enemies (ungodly, atheist, anti-Christ).

God is just (2THS 1:6a, cf. RM 3:25-26 & 9:14, DT 32:4, PS 36:6, LK 11:42, RV 15:3). Explanations of God’s Word should not impugn God’s justice and love for all people (JL 2:13, JN 3:16). This parameter is affirmed in the OT (PS 145:17): “The Lord is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.”

I believe in context that “seed of equality” just means that we are all one in Christ (I.e. we are one, just as God the Father and God the Son are one in understanding). There is no division, nothing more.

All the other verses about women hold.

That pattern has not changed; if it did change, then man changed His word. The statements have not changed; God’s word never changes! 🩷
