Ok, so I was having a conversation with someone about God calling and ordaining men in not so orthidox manners, like David, Joseph, Moses....

He says I dont See God doing that now a days.

A week ago I applied online for a ministers license, and lo and behold at 1:30am this morning, I get a confirmation email saying the ordination has been approved.

Just gotta wait a week for the certificate to arrive.

It was meant as a joke. You know how wives typically accuse their husband's of not being able to find things. :giggle:
Just a thought here.

I believe that the days of both the Old testament and New Testament believers were nothing like what we have today. We are sunken so deep into the days of Noah, we wouldn't know Jesus Christ if he came here today and stood before us. In other words we are as blind as a bat.

Eph 5:3 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;

Eph 5:4 Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.

The tone of the above verse tells us that the believers in Paul's day were not living in the flesh but in the spirit.

The people of Noah's days were all destroyed. God is no respecter of persons and today I believe is much worse than Noah's days.

Gen 6:5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
Gen 6:6 And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.
Gen 6:7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

Just a thought here: you might want to check some other translations. ;)
