Know what you mean JL, I think really I would like to go part time but....well you know how it is. I loved being home, going out, shopping, visiting, having visitors. Also I had my two eldest sons here - one who works the other side of the world and I hadn't seen for a whole year. It was kinda kissing goodbye to all that.I think part of it MPW is that as we get closer to that retirement age it is harder and harder to muster up the will to get back to the grind as we enjoyed our life for a moment and spent time with family and friends as we should.....I wish I had been a wife back in the 50's maybe I would have enjoyed keeping a clean house as my hubby went off to make the big bucks... But I never in my life have known that situation I have always had to work married the first go round and then to just support myself and my daughter. Time will tell if I will have to enter back into the workforce as I still have 401K funds but it is starting to dwindle down to the you had better pay attention area.
Tourist moved over from Orlando area and he is looking for work, but I might have to join in again myself possibly in 6 months if things don't start looking up job wise. They are building a bunch of stores right across the street from where I live and I am trying to hold out for one of those jobs close to home and possibly part-time.....Everything is fine right now so I am not worried at all just in pay attention mode....lol
