We all struggle with different things in our lives. :) What would you most like to surrender to the Lord, but know you can only do it with His help?
 
Insecurity. (That can envelope a lot or a little I know....but yea, something I have been working.) Life can have a way of taking you down some roads that do not have pleasant side affects.

God is good though, and I am blessed beyond what I deserve. :)
 
I have always believed I was destined to do great things in this world and make a difference in many peoples lives. I just haven't been able to develop into that person yet. I struggle with the realization I am still not that person every day. It bothers me greatly and I hope at some point I can accept who I am or finally be a difference maker.
 
GOD is pleased when we are willing to be changed. If our heart is open HE can come and change us the way HE want us to be.....don't be bother, it is HE who will change us.....total surrender and constant communication is all we need...."we can do all things through CHRIST who give us strenght". Changes is gradual.
 
I lay on the Throne of God all my fears and feelings of unworthiness and pick up His robes of Righteousness and Faith that protects us the flaming darts of the Enemy.

At this point I don't know that I can do anything without Him.

I struggle with maintaining any connection to my family. There is so much that I've missed. I don't really know if its worth getting involved. If I ever get married I don't want my mother to feel like a stranger at my wedding.
 
I'm not sure that we fully understand how much our family members mean to us until we begin to lose them... :( I can remember not calling or seeing my parents for long periods of time when I first left home. Now that they're gone, so many times I find myself wondering what they would have to say about things in my life. And I wish that my son could have spent more time with them..

God has already done such a work in my life, but I know there's so much more He wants to do if I'd get out of the way. :) Maybe that's the thing I'd like Him to change the most ... that it wouldn't take me so long to realize that, so often, I'm my own worst enemy. :)

Same here, insecurity.

It can sometimes seem like its taking over my life. I have really been praying lately that God will set me free from that, and i can tell he is really helping me make strides in getting past that.
 
I always believe we should work with all our might at our jobs as unto the Lord (Colossians 3:23-24). Which I do, but because I complaint about work and the unfair amount that seems to be put upon me, I don't because I not doing it heartily to the Lord. So if I could change just one thing it would be to have a more grateful attitude toward God, especially at work.
 
Hum very qood question, ultimately I would probably say my character, so that I may be more like Jesus.
 
I have a list so long it might take up the rest of the space in the forum. From childhood, I've had a lot of problems with:

--anxiety
--depression
--insecurity
--anger
--eating addictions
--becoming a bit of a hermit when I'm not working!

It's only by the grace of God that I can get out of bed in the morning and function!! But, God is so good--I know a lot of people with these issues can't even work or leave the house, but He's always enabled me to work at least one job, often more, and at a time, go to school as well.

I hope to continually improve and am very thankful for His allowing me to lead a normal life.
 
I often have abundances of good intentions & plans, but when it comes time to put them into action I become sluggish. :( I realize that we get out what we put in, but I am still battling my demons regarding my self confidence and my past for that matter. I would like God to bring me to a happy, healthy, motivated state of mind!
 
I have difficulty dealing with my emotions sometimes, I'm a chronic worrier and very self-conscious. I also am pretty gifted in terms of empathy, so I read people and make assumptions. But meh, I say. I raise my problems to the Father and pray he sculpt me as he would have me.
 
I struggle with letting him have my will... I try to give it to him every morning but I seem to constantly take it back.
 
hmmm pretty good question here............what would I like to learn to surrender to the Lord........I dont know that I can answer that.....I am by far not perfect but I believe I am right were god wants me to be everyday of my life and in every situation....and believe everything I experience in life is to teach....so I dont dwell much or get down on myself much or worry much about things I feel are short falls ...I ...I just ask God to continue to teach me through them........and enjoy life........and its always comforting to know that no matter what kind mess I get myself into he is right there with me.....
 
I need to surrender all, it sounds almost easy to do when I listen to the sweet singing of that song by CC Winans, ' I Surrender All,' but my fleshly desires, business dealings constantly get me opened up for Satan's attacks, nip at my heels, and I have a hard time letting God control those things. Satan is real and he does/can influence our lives if we don't surrender our lives to God. But we can rest in triumph knowing that greater is He that is in me than he (Satan) that is in the world.
I like this song for this thread: Lord, make me a servant, do what you must do. You are servant, please make me one too. Lord, I know I am willing, do what you must do, to make me a servant, to make me like you. :-)

Rgith now I am submitting to the lord my finanaces... its kinda scary... I just did 5 years of taxes. but he is faithful to his promises

Brand, amen, to doing that, THAT is key, submission. Wives MUST submit to husbands and husbands MUST submit to God, that is the story for perfect success in life. The Lord leads, follow Him, that is why it's SO important to find a good God guy, girls. Because God will take care of you by virtue of your husband with your husband knowing that God is taking care of him :-)
