That's one of the few things on my wall, the Footprints story. I'm meant it as when you are going through change, don't look back, because you might hit the pier on the beach. Let's just say, it's hard to go forward, when you are looking backwards. Is that more agreeable to you? If not, forget what I said, and just keep making footprints. You have a right to your view, just as I have a right to mine.
I remember this one time I was walking on the beach, and this seagull dropped some white paint all over my head. I'm pretty sure the seagull did it on purpose, because I wasn't looking back, while my life was going through change.
I also used to walk on the beach and close my eyes for two second intervals and say, walk by faith, and not by sight.
I understood about what you meant by looking back. In our faith walk we can't keep our eyes on our rear-view mirror. It hinders our concentration and might cause us to wreck. Only while meditating can we reflect things like footprints.
You said once you are Messianic in your beliefs, is that right? What do you think about God's law/commandments?
I believe God's law doesn't change and it's for our protection that we keep them. The Ten Commandments are a gift from God and are the nuts and bolts of being God's people. Yes, I definitely lean towards the Messianic side of the Faith, but I like to listen to different denominations for inspirations, such as Doug Bachelor. I think my Faith is a mix of the Messianic Faith and Seventh Day Adventist. I think the two Faiths balance each other out quite nicely. Messianic is more of a Jewish roots faith, and SDA is more of a New Testament faith, that honors the practical laws of God. Not saying either denomination is perfect, but they both have really been inspirational to me. Without Jesus, no one can be saved. Hope that answers it.

Thanks kinda. I too am Messianic and I do fellowship with SDAs but I don't agree with most of Ellen White's prophecies. I feel the SDA has called a lot of right things and some I don't agree with. I fellowship with a Church of God Seventh-day Church which is more to my doctrine. It nice to meet you. I see you have had your account a long time, you must have taken a break from posting a while.
