It may be because I'm an audiophile or sound enthusiast and somewhat tech minded that my belief that the chat system is honestly much bulkier than it needs to be and doesn't provide as much benefit as it could exists. This is not to say I don't appreciate the work that has gone into it, and to provide it for free is certainly a matter of being thankful for, but there have been reliable conferencing systems in place for quite some time now that handle such matters and provide more for everyone, including desktop session sharing for those who wish to walk other users through problems on their own computers, direct instant messaging, the ability to create non-persistent channels that disappear once the user who created them leaves, individual volume and ignore controls for every user signed into the systems, file upload, download and storage capabilities, and other features I haven't gotten into in this post for the sake of trying to keep it short.
Again, tis is not intended as criticism, since I'm sure a ton of hard work went into this particular system; I just believe there are probably more efficient ways to handle video and audio chat conferencing which can in some cases even provide more entertainment for the people owing to the number of possibilities present in the systems in question. This is certainly a unique system, probably the only one of its kind I've ever seen on the net.
