You should make it so that we can chat in a room and also click on names and chat with people one-on-one if needed. That also helps a lot of shy people communicate. Furthermore, for safety reasons you can allow the person to accept or deny talking with the requested chatter. And also there should be a pop-up option so that we don't always have to click on the tab to chat. Sometimes I have like 10 tabs going on one window and I don't want to keep on clicking on the chat window to check what people are saying.
 
oh and there should also be a chat room just for christians to help other christians and give advice because i know alot of people who need that and would rather chat then post on a forum

Let's see here, we have chat rooms with private messaging capability. There is an ignore feature in PM or of course someone who does not want to PM can just fail to respond to some one they don't want to talk to. When you enter the chat rooms, it opens in a separate window. Sooooo, everything you suggested already exists. :D
