You have by chance stumbled onto the default chill place for people to hang out. The singles forum started as a forum for singles, but over the years it has evolved into the place where single and married people hang out and chat about random stuff.
(A lot of the married people were single when they joined, but we didn't have the heart to kick them out when they got married.)
Pull up a chair, make yourself comfortable and join in any conversations where you have something to add.
