This reminds me when Manny Paquio or however you spell his name said he thought obama's idea on homosexual marriage was wrong, and people accused him of saying that gays should be killed and totally exaggerated what he said. Im guessing this also happened to this franchise owner.

lol I saw this report when it came out here and gathered a group of friends together to go eat at our local Chik-fil-A.
For the record, the chicken burgers were AMAZING, and the waffle fries and lemonade were purely sublime.
It is so awesome to see a company that will not back down from their principles - the same principles they have held for years - just because they are unpopular in the modern age.

Bigotted I would still say possibly, thi isnt the first time Chick-fil-a has been in the news for its stance on gay rights. They have a pretty strong history of being anti-gay. Which I can understand from a strictly christian viewpoint of the world, however the world isnt christian, i dont even know if christianity is the most popular religion in the world anymore. regardless of your personal beliefs on whether or not homosexuality is wrong they deserve the same rights others enjoy. Like being able to get married. It has nothing to do with religion at this point since marriage is tied in more with the state than anything. No one says you have to approve or even like gay people. But that doesnt mean you should treat them as second class citizens.

May I just say that Chick Fil A is in the top 15 most popular restaurants. For a restaurant that goes against the norms of society, it's growing by leaps and bounds.

lol we went enmasse for the dress as a cow and get a free chicken sandwich day the local chain runs sometimes. the kids liked an excuse to dress up and eat out.

Glad to see you have some sense. People can be such hypocrites. They criticize people for not wanting to go to Chick-fil-A for it's stance on homosexuals, but then they are willing to turn right around and do the same thing to Oreo. It is stupid in my opinion.

I know, people want to feel like they belong though. They will make a big deal out of nothing. It was a tactical move on chick-fil-a's part, but seriously thats about it.
Your food should be good enough to sell itself, you shouldn't have to involve social issues to gain agreement.
Make's me have less respect for them.

I so miss the days when my only concern over eating fast-food was the grease and the calories. Now, I have to consider what political statement I'm making every time I decide to shove something in my mouth? Jeez.
That being said, this doesn't affect me much. I like Chick-Fil-A, but I'm trying to be healthier and to budget my money, so I haven't eaten there in a while. Given the opportunity, however, I will definitely think twice before eating there again. God told us to love everyone, and to leave the judgement to him...I don't think they're representing that message fairly.
