No, the op link says they are thinking about mandating it for the 17'-18' school year. To my knowledge, it's not required as of this moment. It should be required though... I can assure you that if everyone did take it, the numbers would start going down. Take a look at the WEB MD link I posted.
 
This is way overblown, and an excuse for big pharma to make money. If it were my kid I would look for a different school or state....it's not worth getting autism/arthritis or other inflammatory conditions from a stupid vaccine that may or may not work.....no vaccines are guaranteed 100% it's just biological fact. There is no HPV crisis...it's just mass hysteria...like every year with the flu shot....you don't need it....you can take good natural vitamins and herbs to prevent the flu....but the shots make good money cha ching goes the cash register of big pharma.

The NIH Report on Carcinogens, 12th Edition, profile on formaldehyde states that it is in the "air, soil, food, treated and bottled drinking water, surface water and groundwater". Our primary route of exposure is breathing it, indoors or outdoors. Much of this inhaled formaldehyde comes from car exhaust, tobacco smoke, power plants, forest fires and wood stoves

What many people may not know is that our own bodies produce and use formaldehyde as a part of our normal metabolism

When we are exposed to methanol (e.g., via inhalation or ingestion of foods like citric fruits and juices, vegetables or fermented beverages), our bodies break it down into formaldehyde and other byproducts. Our bodies produce formaldehyde as a result of DNA demethylation (an important process for controlling gene expression, e.g., in developing embryos) and other biological processes. It is such a regular part of human metabolism, that our normal, naturally produced blood concentrations are generally about 2-3μg of formaldehyde per gram of blood (or about 2.12-3.18μg/mL)*. And it is actually a pretty important chemical; our bodies use formaldehyde to form DNA and amino acids (Toxicological Profile for Formaldehyde [PDF], ATSDR, 1999).


Looking at the recommended schedule of vaccines from the CDC, let's pick the vaccines from that list that a child might receive in their first 6 years of life (picking the highest amounts, just for illustration). Note, not all of these are actually required for school entry and lower formaldehyde content vaccines are available for most of these:

  • HepB - Recombivax - 3 doses (birth, 1-2 mos. and 6-18 mos.) - 7.5μg/dose
  • DTaP - Infanrix - 5 doses (2 mos., 4 mos., 6 mos., 15-18 mos. and 4-6 yrs.) - 100μg/dose
  • Hib - ActHIB - 3 doses (2 mos., 4 mos. and 12-15 mos.) - 0.5μg/dose
  • IPV - IPOL - 4 doses (2 mos., 4 mos., 6-18 mos. and 4-6 yrs.) - 100μg/dose
  • Influenza - Fluzone - 7 doses (6 mos., 12 mos. and yearly 2-6 yrs.) - 100μg/dose
  • HepA - Havrix - 2 doses (12 mos. and 6-18 mos. after first dose) - 100μg/dose
That's all of the vaccines on the recommended schedule for 0-6 years that contain formaldehyde. If a child got all of those doses all at once (which they never would), they would get a total of 1,824μg, or 1.824mg, of formaldehyde. A 3.2kg (~7lb) newborn with an average blood volume of 83.3mL/kg would naturally have, at any given time, about 575-862μg of formaldehyde circulating in their blood. By the time they are 6 years old (~46lb or 21kg), they'll naturally have 3,562-5,342μg of formaldehyde in their blood. Bear in mind that the formaldehyde from each shot will not build up in their bodies from shot to shot, as it is very rapidly (within hours) metabolized and eliminated as formate in the urine or breathed out as CO[SUB]2[/SUB].

So what's the most a child might get in a single office visit? That would probably be at their 6 month visit (when they are, on average, 16.5lbs or 7.5kg) with HepB, DTaP, IPV and flu, for a total of 307.5μg. That is about 160 times less than the total amount their body naturally produces every single day*. Compare that to the 428.4-1,516.4μg of formaldehyde in a single apple.

*With a blood half-life of about 1.5 minutes, this means that the human body produces about 50,000μg of formaldehyde

I think it's pretty cool. 96% less uterine cancer if everyone is vaccinated. I'm not even sure women need to get PAP Smears anymore, if we can get rid of this virus.

No, actually this isn't "Big Pharma." It's PC Christianese style. Had you been reading the other side more, you'd already know the autism/arthritis/whatever stuff is a load of fresh manure.

And "It's a biological fact?" Really? How many people do you know who came down with polio in the last 60 years?

The mass hysteria is you and a very tiny portion of the population like you. The real facts are out there, but you rather keep blaming, despite "Big Pharma" has already all but stopped many of the viruses that killed or maimed my generation.

Funny thing, the only time polio does show up is when some parent didn't vaccine their child for the same stupid reasons you are giving. And that, in turn, is killing babies too young to be vaccinated yet.

Its not based on propaganda. That is a very dangerous and misleading statement your making.
What do you base it on?
For every article that falsely states vaccines are safe (which are often based on quasi science with no preponderance of factual evidence), I can probably point out 2 or 3, based on real science with no sinister agenda, that says they are hurting children. They can be a cause or part of the reason of the onset of autism ,allergies, ADHA, and compromise the immune system, to name just a handful in a bundle of ailments.
This is precisely why no one with children should vote for Hillary. So is pushing the vaccine issue, and why? Because they got to her. Money, money and more money.
You want to trust the government, go ahead.
You want to trust a government that forces young children who have cancer undergo chemo and forcibly takes them from their homes against their parents wishes, and continues that chemo even when the chemo causes infections in their arms and they have to undergo amputation, then go ahead.
That is a true story by the way, about a 8 year old girl.

It is bad enough what the government and the medical industry are forcing down our adult throats in the name of money.
But now they wan to kill and poison our children.
For that reason I really get annoyed when people in the public allow themselves to be used as tools by them, because they did not do there homework or for whatever other reason.
Leave the young innocent children be.
Don't destroy their lives.
Don't play crap shoot with their health because of the systems immense ego and greed.

So when the gov comes after you for speaking about Jesus in public, because one day that will be outlawed, you can bet on it, then don't complain.
If you allow them to compromise young children, you should not have much to say about them limiting you to speak about God.

Well, for some vaccines it is clearly needed, as these anti vaccine people spread their propaganda to such an extent that diseases that were almost gone are returning with a vengeance, claiming lives
 
The older I get, the more I really dislike this world. When Jesus says we may be stuck here, but not part of it, he wasn't kidding.
The closer we get to God, the more we understand the evil of this world, the more we become aliens in our own environment. Any Christian who is comfortable with this place and its satanic and evil system needs to think about some things.
If anyone believes satan does not have a firm grip on this world system, he (or she) needs to re-evaluate their world view paradigm.

Common sense happened to free will. You're not allowed to go shooting your gun in a city and you're not allowed to have your free-willing kids spread viruses around to other kids who aren't old enough to get them yet. Common sense. Try it sometime.

I've had to give these immunizations as part of my profession, so I am qualified to speak about this crap that goes on...
Thousands of mindless people think their govt cares for them when they truly don't give a damn about any human just your wealth/taxes. If govt says to get a vaccine it is to help the corporate agenda...the hegelian dialectic....create a problem and provide a solution....inbetween make gargantuan profits.....create a disease/hysteria about one....then provide a vaccine.....where did ebola suddenly disappear to? hmm.....and within less than 3 months they had a vaccine back in '14 when normally vaccines take at least 2-3 years to develop and another 2 to run through clinical trials on animals and humans. Ebola was a controlled experiment done to see how the masses react to an epidemic and also to boost gsk, johnson'n johnson etc's profits...via vaccinations which run on average about $30 or more....multiply that by the population of which a good 50-60% will get vaccinated at the least....your talking trillions or even more of profit.....all from a contrived pandemic by social elites....it also helps to depopulate the earth and save what they call mother earth/gaia.
