We work hard for our rewards of this world. It is wonderful to be popular, to achieve a great body with beauty, to have a wonderful home to live in. There are many laws for us to follow to achieve these things. God calls it all the kingdom of the world, and God says there are demons in this kingdom.

Christ came announcing the kingdom of Heaven, and again there are many laws governing this kingdom. The Sermon on the Mount is a wonderful start in learning what these laws are. God is love, and love is the base of all these laws, love of the Lord and love for others.

Many Christians try hard to have the rewards of the world and also the rewards of Heaven. Do you think we can have both, or are there times we must choose?

Please read Luke 6, especially verse 27.

Luke 6:27 But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you,

Compare this with the world’s view of standing up for our rights and defending ourselves. Can we spend all our money we earn on ourselves? What about how we spend our time? There are so many choices we must make.

God wants us to have life and have it more abundantly. Of course, God's idea of what constitutes a reward may differ that our idea. Personally, I am not here on earth for the rewards but would not turn one down if offered.

Amen there is an exact contradiction between the gospel and the worlds corrupt way and system

“And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭16:15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

when satan corrupted us he changed our Will and desires toward his instincts rather than Gods so good becomes evil and evil becomes good there’s no distinction without God

Jesus came to teach us Gods truth that is beyond this world that mankind forgot in the beginning following Satan rather to an God rubbed off on mans nature so we need redemption from the worlds ways and nature

Making the choice to live as God's child is not easy. The entertainment of the world is exciting. That new car is shiny, and the fancy house gives pleasure.

It is like Esau and Jacob, Esau gave up his birthright for a pot of stew. We give up our place in heaven for the temporary pleasures of the world.

The laws of the world come to us hourly in all our media. We must search for the laws of the kingdom of heaven.

The 23rd Psalm says it all. We can choose green pastures and still waters, then we are protected as we walk in the world. The gospels are like fences on this walk with the Lord, it gives us the boundaries.

An interesting thing about the 23rd Psalm is that the Lord makes us to lie down in the green pastures and leads us besides the still waters. This is my favorite Psalm.

The world has us fighting for our rights, going for excitement, not lying down quietly but wording long and hard, shooting the rapids, not content and resting. The world is like going for rides at the fair--it is soon over, just temporary. The Lord gives us eternal joy, contentment, and permanent mansions.

It is my favorite psalm, also.
