I'm actually one of those people who doesn't quite get it. That's why I posted this. Everyone talks about the best parts of Christianity but almost never the difficulties Christians face.
Loving people when you really don't feel like loving them.
When there is nothing you can find in them to love...

The most difficult thing for me was when I wasn't healed of Rheumatoid Disease, having people who were dear friends, but Word Faith tell me I wasn't healed because I didn't have enough faith. I was in physical agony, and they just dumped a load of spiritual agony in me. God was good and led me out of that deep pit my friends help create, first through the Word, and then through my theological studies.
It is very sad that other Christians were the cause of the hardest difficulty I have had. I did totally forgive them, but when they start mouthing off about positive confession, they get an earful about how wrong their theology is. One man is going to be arriving here in the next week. I guess I need to brush off my Bible passages. He was supposed to come in Friday, but has an appointment with a specialist in Monday he has to go to, to review a problem that almost killed him a few years after he told me I didn't have enough faith! And the other friend died of cancer when she refused treatment because she confessed she was healed and wasn't!

That's a fantastic question. For me, seeing liberals breathe our air. It pains me.
You forgot to call the EPA for emission testing on their exhales![]()

And non-Christians stealing reason and logic from God to reason that there's no God.
for me it's pain and the sorrow. I find that deeper love that God and I have and the deeper love I have for all others the greater the pain and sorrow when I see them hurting struggling not knowing or understanding who and what it is God sees when he sees them what he thinks when he thinks of them what he says when he speaks of them. It's usually the exact opposite of what he sees thinks and feels about them than what they think.I'm curious. What do you feel is the most difficult part of being a Christian?

Many times a person's greatest weakness becomes their greatest strength when god works in themThis is true for me as well....sometimes we feel like getting back but forgiveness is so far a work in progress for me.....

I see so many struggle I see so many in pain in sadness so many struggling with their worth so many never knowing what real love is what it's like to be loved with agape love never knowing the joy of mattering of being worth anything. it seems that the deeper the love in ones heart the deeper the pain and the sadness seeing their pain their struggles. Jesus knew this pain very well more so than anyone, when I first read how wanted to wrap his arms around the people and cover them as a hen does with her chicks I didn't understand why or how he felt like this. But as I grew closer to him as a deeper love was infused into my heart as I began to see and care and love all others as he does even though I am far from fully seeing and caring and loving as he does I now understand why he felt like this and find myself desiring the very same thing.
It is a pain and a sorrow that cuts deep especially since most of the time I cannot be there for them physically but it is a pain that he and I both choose to bear. for me this is the hardest part of being a Christian and yet I would never have it any other way
