picture053.jpg As christians we love people even the worst, but a currupt govenment shall not infringe on my right to bear arms, i served in what i felt to be a false war, iam a law abiding citizen and own a guns, why do they demoralize us for that? Always handle your weapon with respect and responsibility its not a toy, Who agrees with me? Never should you use your weapon for any unlawful purposes or in a mindless fashion, dont be dumb when you to to the range, i have all my weapons registered and thats that. Whos with me?
 
I agree with you. You're a law abiding citizen, you have the right to own a gun.
 
While many will not agree from what i have experienced around me (and i can respect that), i was raised around weapons and their use..the weapon is never evil so as long as it is used with the responsibility that comes from owning a weapon. As you mentioned, this is not to be used for the wrong purposes; i personally think they're really fun devices and same for bows.. really nice way to pass the time.

I mean as long as you arent a felon or in possession of mental issues I dont have an issue with it. I dont personally on one but then im not really in a place where i need to.
 
I support the Second Amendment but do not have a gun. When it comes that, the gun is not at fault, it is the person pulling the trigger that is at fault. So anyway you have my support.

I think America's gun laws are much too lax but you seem to be a responsible gun-owner.

I dunno about "too lax", but I definitely think we have the wrong sorts of laws in place and not enough people to enforce the right ones were we to have them.

Um...bad sentence structure, but I dunno how to fix it and still say the same thing, ha.
 
Isn't it ironic that we have only 10 commandments that we struggle with to abide by, and yet we have legislation containing hundreds of pages worth of circumscriptions that suffer the death of a thousand qualifications? The government knows people will find some crack to cheat the system.

Mankind really is corrupt.
 
I have no problem with people owning guns, as long as those people go through a background check so we know that they aren't dangerous. What I do have a problem with is the mentally disturbed owning weapons that are meant for killing in mass numbers, and the fact that we are unaware that these people even have guns.

What the heck dude what's with the disrespect? Are you denying that there are dangerous gun owners out there? Because that's a fact. I'm not saying all gun owners are dangerous, but a gun is a powerful thing that can harm a lot of people, so keeping track of the people whose hands it falls into is a good idea BECAUSE there are insane people out there. Not because all gun owners are dangerous. In fact I'm sure the majority of gun owners are responsible people.

And there's a decent chance your job did perform a background check on you.
 
They're going to ban them eventually, I don't like it but it's true....I support the second amendment even though I don't like guns (and don't own any). Cold hard truth of the matter is that they are eventually going to be made completely illegal. Enhanced Registration, then tightening of what kind of guns we're allowed to own, and then complete ban. It's what the gov wants, and the PR spin on all these mass shootings is going to alter public opinion enough to enable them to get away with it. We love our guns as a country so it's not going to be as easy as it was in England or Australia but I'm still certain that they will eventually get away with it.

Therein lies the question Are they getting them legally or are they getting them under the table so to speak? If they are getting them on the black market then they are already skirting the law. The issue then is not the laws itself but how do you deal with those breaking the law in the first place?
 
Look, all totalitarian dictatorships start with gun confiscation.
Many millions of God fearing, Jesus loving people know that.
A gun registry is simply a starting point for a means to collect them.
Everyone knows that.
If you don't, look up how the communist Chinese disarmed their citizens, or Russia....and the great genocides that followed.
God! It's really disheartening to see how ignorant so many good people are about protecting their own safety!
Your lively hoods are not owed to you. Jesus will save your soul and lead you into wisdom, but He won't force you to be free, He expects you to do that for yourself.
Many slaves were spiritually saved in their chains, it is just disheartening to see people who want to be indentured servants, because they think somehow that makes then 'Holy'.
It's not up to God to keep you free, it's up to you!
 
I'm sure the 'corrupt' US government would applaud you for the way you handle your weapons, namely with respect and responsibility... and, last but not least, for the fact that you have them REGISTERED.
