Christina Grimmie, a former contestant on "The Voice" who was fatally shot on Friday night as she signed autographs for fans, was a committed Christian who had previously spoken of her faith and how she sang for Jesus. The singer was a contestant on season 6 of "The Voice" in the US, having already made a name for herself on YouTube, with one of the videos she's shared being "In Christ alone." According to the Gospel Herald, Gimmie described herself as a "full-on Christian who loves Jesus and loved His Word, and sang for Jesus." She was signing autographs after performing at a concert with her band before you exit at the Plaza Live theater in Orlando, Floriida, when a man carrying two guns came up to her and shot her. Her brother tackled the suspect, who then fatally shot himself. Christina Grimmie, 22, was rushed to the hospital in a critical condition where she died a few hours later.
I just wanted us to take the time to remember her and her family, and the family of the perpetrator as well that God may use this to show Himself to many. How do you think this could impact society for God, despite its horrific waste of life.?
"Lord, I ask you to be with the families of both parties, and Lord help those people whom are suffering with ideas roaming in their head even, yet still, in society whom may feel like doing such a travesty. Help stop them from following thru with it, in Jesus name I pray Amen."
Thank God Her brother helped save others possibly, but this was a troubled mind, obviously, in Kevin James Loibl who committed the murder. May God be with all the survivors and families.
