My husband and I celebrated Christmas with a couple of friends along with a former boss and his live-in significant other. He is living at her place.
The situation he is in is a mess that I would not want to be in. I was told by my husband that his 26 year marriage is ending because his wife filed for divorce. One of the friends we celebrated the holiday with has known him for years, and he told me that the person whom he is living with told him that the 2 of them cheated on his wife.
I felt awkward spending time at her place knowing all of this.
The cheating and the rebound relationship both of them are in are something I would not want to get involved with.
I understand that as us humans want companionship and someone to take care of us, but what does God want in a situation like this?
As Christians how do we navigate a situation like this?
I felt out of place.
