Yes, it is. And I have always thought that was very telling that the religion of Satan would attack us on the very day their sworn enemy is thought to be born.
Not sure I would say it's taking control. It's more of an opportunity to give an alternative aspect to what people are doing but in fact do not know what they are doing.
Fur the majority they don't know what they are doing.
It's just a bit of fun, kids looking for treats.
The majority who do not get a treat do not trick, they just go on to the next house.
The issue for me is that they dress up in stuff like the devil, ghosts, witches and so on.
So a belief of such things are planted in their minds at an early age.

No, don't deprive your children of Christmas. The actual date of the birth of Jesus is not really known. Christmas is a great time to spend with your family and those that you love. Lucifer was not born but was created, nothing to do with Christmas. Enjoy this special time of the year however you see fit.
It's the same on Easter and Halloween lol People think to much. Our Faith should be simple and child like. Thats what I think anyway.
Whose been feeding you this nonsense? Sounds like Lucifer AKA Satan. Lucifer was an angel -- a cherub -- and a direct creation of God (just like all the other angels). So the question of him being born is frivolous.
But if you have a personal problem with Dec 25, then best to keep it to yourself. God has given Christians the liberty to either observe days or not, and there is nothing in the NT indicating that Christmas is to be observed.
And don't forget that the day that God did give to Christians -- the Lord's Day -- is held in contempt by you. So much for nit picking about days, and months, and years.
Difference between Halloween and Christmas/Easter is that Halloween has nothing about it Christians could celebrate and can be used to preach about the dangers of darkness. However for the latter, we know the origins therefore us Christians celebrate. I agree people think too much instead of just enjoying themselves

That isn't the point,any holiday is not simply about,"a day" it's about who or what is being celebrated and how one celebrates,say for example if on either day a person praises Jesus but their actions please the devil,said person is actually praising satan but using Jesus's name to hide behind,now as to "intentional rejection" of Christ's birth that is quite different because it leads to rejecting Jesus altogether,his birth is important,the day is of no consequence when we seek to celebrate his birth,after all since when have our generations ever been "perfect"?
God understands that we will err,so any celebration of Jesus by anyone that is "right" to do in God's eyes,is acceptable.
For to celebrate Christ is to celebrate God whom sent Christ Jesus for our sakes to walk and die as a man,but resurrect and ascend and give us the holy spirit and the gift of salvation.
It is just as it is written of fruits,a celebration just as a tree shall either bring forth "good fruit" or "wicked fruit" it cannot produce both,as in if a celebration is pleasing to God/Jesus then it is acceptable and possibly may add more souls to him,but if it be filled with things opposite to God/Jesus(drunkeness,cursing,idolatry,and so on) then such a celebration is unacceptable to God and pleases only satan and one's self.

In our house we celebrate Christmas.
We have a tree and decorations. I love them.
I have 4 kids, all grown up now.
In the years they were growing up, on Christmas day my wife and I in the morning would get a birthday cake and put candles on it and light them.
Then we would we would all sing Happy birthday to Jesus. And the kids blew the candles out.
The focus was not on presents but the present giver as such and the real present.

I don't think she means any harm. If its anything like my panic attacks its hard to decide what is wrong and what is right. It's a difficult position to be in. I've suffered it almost daily for the last couple of months.
