good job the shooter was a little girl and had low tollerance of pain otherwise he could have just pushed through the pain, sat up and carried on firing.
 
Unless the concealed carry guy calmed down and kept on firing until the threat was stopped... my money would have been on the law abiding citizen.
 
I live less than 20 minutes from this place, and there was so little coverage on it locally, I heard it from a friend in New Mexico!!
 
I was surprised to see an article like this in the extremely liberal Washington Times because this type of event completely goes against their typical agenda.

CCW holders prevent or stop crimes in progress thousands of times a year but you will almost never hear about it on the news, or if you do it'll only be a 15 second clip.

The Washington Times is pretty conservative. I think you may be confusing it with the Washington Post. I've done it before.
