You know what the funny thing is? I think many of us see sin in ourselves more so than others we tend to be the most critical on ourselves than anyone literally fulfilling the phrase being our own worst enemy. I tend to see myself as a worse sinner than everyone else I look at others and then myself and think to myself that I bet they don't sin how I do or as much as I do.
The enemy is very good at making us think like this but God doesn't see what we do, it's so easy to see all my flaws my sins every screw up everything wrong with me and base my opinion of myself on that but I am 100% sure God sees and thinks the opposite of what I do about me and I don't want to view myself from my eyes I want to view myself from his.
There is a difference between humbleness and fake humbleness, yes I am a sinner but beating myself up seeing myself as a wretch focusing on my my weakness and sin every flaw is not humbleness, being humble I think is knowing who we are in God knowing that he sees we are clean we are righteous we royalty kings and queens yet never viewing ourselves higher than others.
God says all these amazing things about us and I think he meant for us to believe him
