Don't fall for the "baiting" and malice.....let's just give the truth of the gospel of our Lord out. The Holy Spirit will take care of everything else....All is well!....:)

1 Peter 2:23 (NASB)
[SUP]23 [/SUP] and while being reviled, He did not revile in return; while suffering, He uttered no threats, but kept entrusting Himself to Him who judges righteously;

By sleeper I meant shill. You went too fast from appearing like an impartial seeker of truth to lauding the praises of a false-grace teacher. Are you his disciple? Go to his church? How long have you been a false-grace believer?

it is obvious you have no desire to see what any one believes, but to pass judgment on anyone who does not agree with you. Amazingly many of these came in defending you, And you turned on them, when they started to see what was really going on.

I pray God can work in you some day. Until then. Join the few others on ignore.

and I pray everyone decides to do this.

Knowing the awesome truth of our Lord's great salvation makes us want to run to the throne of grace and confess and talk about everything in our lives - in faith believing in what our Lord Jesus already has done for us in redeeming us with His blood. We have a New Covenant build upon better promises and Jesus is our representative.

He is our righteousness and life! We love to confess these truths! It brings honor and glory to our Lord Jesus Christ and it pleases the Father.

Amen!

Way to stay focused on OP!

Some great truths to meditate on.

"But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption" 1 Cor 1:30

"For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him." 2 Cor 5:21

Amen.

God giveth grace to the humble but resiteth the proud. Our own righteousness is but filthy rages.

Sorry, I wasn't finished when I posted that....

Our own righteousness is but filthy rages, and we can only be righteous through Jesus Christ.

Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed.
James 5:16

Confessing their sins, they were baptized by him in the Jordan River.
Mat 3:6

The whole Judean countryside and all the people of Jerusalem went out to him. Confessing their sins, they were baptized by him in the Jordan River.
Mark 1:5

Confession is a stating out of an idea or belief. These people are confessing their sins.
They are not just agreeing with God, they are admitting their guilt and need to change.

I find it mind numbing to be continually told the bible is talking about a different type of confession of sins, but confession of Gods beauty, grace and love. But it is both, not exclusively one and not the other.

Imagine you are walking in purity, righteousnes and holiness. There is not sin to confess.

But what I am reading is confession when you are imputed righteous is wrong. Now this is about hypocracy, and denial.
So if as a believer I sin, I am not to confess my sin, and repent, I am just meant to agree with God. But by confessing my sin and repenting I am agreeing with God.

But in a weird way this is called unbelief because the sin is already cleansed and forgiven, though it is still going on, so I must walk as if it is not real. That is exactly the kind of hypocracy the pharisees walked in. We are the people of Israel, we are good people, look at how grand we are, yet Jesus said their hearts were unclean without love and mercy, they were dead inside.

I do not do the things because I am obligated to do them to be a good christian, I am a child of God, transformed within, so I love, and if I sin, I confess it and repent and ask for forgiveness, and accept Jesus's cleansing.

The real problem is just people do not believe faith is credited as righteousness, so if you do not believe future sin is automatically forgiven at the point of coming to faith, you are going in and out of salvation all the time, rather than learning to walk with Christ. Just walk with Christ and let your heart show you the way. Your theology will catch up.

So many know God loves them, and not why they continually stumble and react in ways they wish they did not.
All this shows there is still a long way of self understanding and healing needed in their hearts. But these same people want to tell me I know nothing and have hidden sin which I am not admitting to. I would suggest simply the sin they are so familiar with, is the problem in their lives which the Lord desires them to deal with. Rather than running away and living with compromise they should face what it means to know the King of Kings and stop playing these games of make believe.

I just realized that there's a part 3 also. Couldn't find it in the same format as the others. This one is a pdf of Swaggart's The Evangelist October 2014 issue.

I think you are confusing the issue. The sin of the Word Faith movement is that some of them believe you can become little Gods so they interpret the Bible through this Word of Faith filter that their teachers are teaching metaphysics.

You can't paint with a broad brush and say that because some have this teaching that all Christians are using the same brush. You fail to understand that different groups have different teachings even though we are using the same Bible. They have cults inside of pentecostalism whereas my Church does not. They let groups like Oneness Pentecostals spy out the Assemblies of God ministries and they have the Word of Faith cult spy out Assemblies of God and other charismatic churches. I reject those teachings and cults.

I'm confusing the issue? All I did was post a series of articles by Jimmy Swaggart.

When you try to answer people, it helps to know their doctrinal background and you have to take into account the last 80 years of teachers and what they taught. Faith teachers taught that men can become little gods, that their faith is a force and their words are containers of that force so when they speak the word of God, they speak their own reality into existence. That is Christian witchcraft and that is metaphysics. This is not what Christianity teaches so you have two groups that could use the hyper grace theology and you are judging without knowing what everyone believes.

I still don't understand what you're trying to say.

I still don't understand what you're trying to say.

It is a logical fallacy to not know the background of what everyone believes and to superimpose what you know on people you don't know.

It is called a stereotype, a broad generalization...White people can't jump. Etc.

I agree, but you're not making sense. I have no idea what you're talking about.

I remember Jimmy Swaggart on the television. I don't know that he had a degree or not. He had people with doctor degrees sitting on stage as to give him credibility or something. He got some other minister in trouble so the minister that he got in trouble took pictures of him and sold them to the National Inquirer or something. Now all the smart people who sat on his stage are soiled because of his sin.

I've talked to pastors before in forums. They are blind to their congregation's sin. I bring it up and they don't acknowledge it exists. Some are gracious and others don't talk to me again. Jimmy Swaggart comes from a pentecostal background so he has the same people in his midst. Whether he wants to acknowledge their sins is up to him or not. If he can't acknowledge their sins, it won't appear in his articles. A lot of pastors won't speak up about the sin in their community because it causes trouble, he doesn't get cooperation and they would find people fighting them. Jimmy Swaggart wrote an article and doesn't show research and isn't peer reviewed. Just because he wrote an article does not make it official or gospel truth. He wrote an article according to his educational level and we don't know that he went to college so therefore it can be very very lacking. A lot of people who are in college do a lot of research and a lot of colleges throw out Christian books because they have errors and are replaced by newer scholarship.

I went to college and I am granted all the rights and privileges of my degree according to the state that I earned my degree so therefore I'm entitled to my opinion whether or not you can understand it and whether or not you are using your not understanding me argument as an excuse..
