Yes, Collin, people usually don't respond to PM's if they don't know the person PM'ing them. Like Melita said, start posting in the forums and ask your questions there.

Hey, Collin. A lot of people don’t reply to PMs from someone who hasn’t posted in the forums. I recommend posting more frequently so others can get to know you.
This is the best approach to meeting new people and getting to know them.
Well, that could be because so far, you've only made posts complaining because people are ignoring you. If you'd get to the point and tell us what you need help with, you'd be getting somewhere.
Just relax and be yourself. Write a few posts. Get yourself out there where people can see you. It's often hard when first starting out because you are unknown to everyone. I lot of us have been here years. It's very much a family. You can fit it too. Give it a chance.

Everyone hates me, but I am not confused as to why, lol. If you think people hate you, you can either let it bother you or shake it off, it doesn’t bother me to be a pariah. A part of me enjoys it, actually.

It has nothing to do with hating you at all.
Most people will not respond from a message out of the blue from someone they do not know or have not talked with on the forums.
Settle in, engage with people and get to know them and let them get to know you.

I was not going on a fishing expedition when I made my post. My point is, I am not everyone’s cup of tea. And that is fine. Not everyone is my cup of tea. That is the way life goes. It is perfectly fine to not be loved by one and all. I am sure Churchill was not loved by Hitler and vice versa.
