Pinterest has always come in hand for me. I am vegetarian strong for two and a half years and no one else in my family eats like I do. Pinterest has so many great ideas for everyone in the house!

This blog is pretty good. http://chooseveg.com/blog/vegan-on-a-budget-17-easy-affordable-recipes-2/

I was vegan for awhile. It's a lifestyle choice too. Effecting our wardrobe, and even our personal hygiene. Products containing no animal byproducts, no animal testing, etc...
I know some vegans who don't eat honey because of the harvest process that victimizes the bee's.

When you say it is a difficult to be vegan with the rest of your family eating meat and dairy what do you mean? They eat your healthy stuff when it's available? Or their diet is tempting you away from your vegan commitment?

I just bought "The Maker's Diet" book. While I have not yet read it in its entirety, the testimonial in the front and the wonderful reviews are bountiful enough to give it a try. While the author has a business of healthy foods and supplements, they are not necessary to purchase to make this work. I'm only just beginning. He refered to the vegan diet and calls this one, "Beyond Organic". It's based on Daniel's diet and a close walk with God. The author had Chrone's Disease at the age of 19. Is Chrone's free now and thriving'

Its very hard as a vagan to always keep up with all vitamins and minerals without taking fake meds. Id reconsider it.
I know a few who keep a vagan diet and non of them can get along without multiple of vitamin supplies

Forget that vegan stuff and fry up some bacon to go with the scrambled eggs, hash browns, and buttered English muffin with strawberry Jam. Don't forget the OJ either.

Vitamin and mineral supplements are meant to be exactly that. Supplemental , filling the deficit or deficiency in those live nutrients that are typically attained by diet.
It isn't true that vegans have to subsist on vitamin and mineral supplements in order to survive on a vegan diet.

I think you can be a vegetarian and if you will have a good dietary system (which is very hard), you can live with that.

I do not think you can be a healthy and well supported vegan, if you will not use many man-made supplements. This is also what doctors and nutrition specialists say.
