I honestly can't beleive I'm reading this on a Christian Forum. So just because someone commits a crime, its ok for a cop to kill him?

I could be wrong, but I don't think that Wisebeardman is saying that the commission of a crime is permission for a officer to pull the trigger, but that if you don't commit crimes the probabilities of being shot by an officer drop exponentially.

oh ok. Seemed as if he was implying that it is ok for officers to shoot unarmed suspects because they committed a crime. Whatever he meant, I think he chose poor words. It seems like he was implying, "Don't worry about police shooting people when their not supposed to. Just don't commit crimes." Police are not above the law. They should be held to the same standards the rest of society is held to, and it seemed he was trying to deflect away from that fact.

"(CNN) - Police have arrested Dorian Johnson, the man who was walking with Michael Brown when he was fatally shot by an officer in Ferguson, Missouri.

Officers arrested Johnson Wednesday after he allegedly interfered with an arrest and was seen 'discarding suspected narcotics on the ground,' St. Louis County Police spokeswoman Leah K. Freeman said."
