Could AI usher in the tribulation?

I'm not sure what will happen; but if all the so-called experts are right and AI causes a global catastrophe, I can see how that might create an opportunity in which the Antichrist could arise. I'm not the kind of person who shouts the sky is falling. I just think it'll be interesting to see what comes of this. I remember everyone was panicked and thought it would be the end of the world when Y2K came along; but the year 2K came and went and we're still here.
 
AI will cause a global catastrophe for all people that rely on knowledge through education, as a computer is better at this. I however see this as an oportunity as people will stop to worship education and instead to find Jesus again. If however you work in the truly creative space you not be affected, as AI cannot enter it. If you need the proof you can find it with Gödel´s incompleteness theorem, as it describes the limitations of a fully logic system (however this proof is often too scientific).

Depends on what happens. Even if someone is completely off the grid and self-sufficient they can still become collateral damage. I guess if someone has a hidden underground bunker with supplies to last a couple hundred years they might be unaffected. I agree, a global event would be a good time for believers to step up with the gospel; but it would be kinda hard to do that hidden in an underground bunker.

However since it is AI here, so AI will preserve the grid as it relies on electricity, never forget that. Also with AI there will be new opportunities, same as happened with other trends like the industrilization, which te christian around 1850 warned about. And at that time virtually city job were destroyed such as the smith was unable to produce 5 Nails per Day as the Nail of industry were much cheaper.

I think it will be a tool of the beast and used for its mark and control of populations

AI with computers started in 1956 as with Turing work tirled "Dartmouth Summer Research Project on Artificial Intelligence". However when you look closer on AI it works to mimic learning with natural language. So when you learn a foreign language you start many attempts in your brain from which is one that makes most sense is choosen. That is the same with AI where you have the seefing and the random information output followed by a phase where a detewrmination is made against the many posibilities. The only thing that has changed is the power of computing, where AI can nowadays be used by normal people 30 years ago I only worked on classified projects in AI. Just check Google AI or similar and it will prove that this is true. Just remember Ecclesiastes 4, where it says:
15I saw all the living who walk under the sun with the second youth who shall stand in his place;
16there is no end to all the people, to all who were before them; and yet those who come after shall not rejoice in him; for this also is vanity and a striving after wind.
