Do you believe the earth is flat too?
Hey how are you??

Genesis 1:1-19
[1]In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
[2]And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
[3]And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
[4]And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
[5]And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
[6]And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.
[7]And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.
[8]And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.
[9]And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.
[10]And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.
[11]And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
[12]And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
[13]And the evening and the morning were the third day.
[14]And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
[15]And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
[16]And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.
[17]And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,
[18]And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.
[19]And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

Joshua 10:12-14
[12]Then spake Joshua to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon.
[13]And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day.
[14]And there was no day like that before it or after it, that the LORD hearkened unto the voice of a man: for the LORD fought for Israel.

Isaiah 40:21-22
[21]Have ye not known? have ye not heard? hath it not been told you from the beginning? have ye not understood from the foundations of the earth?
[22]It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:

I believe exactly what these verses say. If it goes against the world or science oh well I'm rolling with word of God.

I suspect that if the earth was the center of the universe, it'd have to be the center of our solar system too; at the very least, in the time of Genesis 1: 1.
As I think that the angels lived as mortal men here on the earth before Adam and Eve, and became angels when the two thirds were resurrected after the world was destroyed during their war with Satan and his third. I've often thought that the Lord was the light of the world then, just as he will be when New Jerusalem comes down from heaven upon the New Earth. I imagine our solar system was without a sun, which the Lord made on the first day of the creation in Genesis chapter one. IMO, tentatively.

Well the sun is in the firmament not the solar system. The sun and moon move not the earth. Joshua 10:12

The best and latest observations using the best and latest satellites DO IN FACT suggest strongly that OUR GALAXY is the center of the universe. So it is easy to believe that at a higher resolution, the earth may be also.

It doesnt matter if we are the center of the galaxy. We are still important and are just were we need to be. At the center of every large galaxy is a black hole. Did you know The milky way will not always be like it is today the Andromeda is going to collid with the our galaxy one day.

You might need to understand that EVERY galaxy is a Z-pinch electromagnetic phenomenon, as is every solar system.
And the Sun is a plasmoid in arc mode.

And a black hole is a non-cartesian dielectric inertial sink with mass and no magnitude.

Anyhoo.....you might find this debunking session interesting.

Cv5,
Theirs no way we can know If we are the the center of the universe or not. The universe is expanding scientist don't even know the depth or width and we cannot even view the entirety of the universe because from our prespective there are things infront. We don't even know if we are a spiral galaxy or an elliptical galaxy for sure because We haven't even taken a picture of our own milyway because it's too far a distance

Actually.....they do have decent data. Certainly enough to propose a theory.

But don't worry about it.
Cosmology is just a sideline. But an interesting one. For me anyways.

Well the sun is in the firmament not the solar system. The sun and moon move not the earth. Joshua 10:12
Going by Joshua there was never a day before or after, that doesn't fit your narrative.

Yes there was never a day before or after that the sun and moon stopped. They are moving now

Ok so the Bible says the sun moon and the stars are in the firmament. No universe is mentioned. And how do you explain Joshua 10 12 if you believe the earth is moving lol. Go study your satan buddy Neil degrasss Tyson since you deny the Bible.

According to my understanding of the scripture; in just over 1,000 years, all the elements of this creation or universe will melt with fervent heat and the works of the faithful will be tried by fire. Any works that remain unto the creation of the New Earth will be rewarded with an eternal reward. I wonder, if the Lord's temporal creation of this universe holds such seemingly infinite glory, what will the permanent creation contain? Pr 11: 30 "The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise."

You still have not answered the question. A straightforward answer, please; no more avoiding.

And no, science is not all of Satan. Don't be closed-minded. You are using the internet, which is built on the principles of...

science.

You might want to check your gross hypocrisy at the door.

Since you claim, at least by implication, to believe the Bible, why don't you act according to its instruction? These insults are quite inappropriate on the lips (or fingertips) of a Bible believer.
