Governor Tim Walz backed an Orwellian hate speech registry.

His original budget proposal for the human rights department included a 7% increase in funding for 2024 and a 4.5% increase after that to monitor Minnesotans speech.

Here is Rep.
@WalterHudson
blasting the legislation:

Governor Tim Walz redefined “sexual orientation” to include pedophiles.

Walz did so by signing law that removed
@HarryNiska
’s amendment to excluded “physical or sexual attachment to children by an adult” from the state human rights law.

Here is Rep. Niska’s floor speech:
This should be mentioned and reminded every single day until November. There is no grey zone, there is no excuse to let these monsters seize power over America. This isn't even a one-off for Tim Walz the prince of Sodom, he has a real pattern here in the way he targets boys specifically for the sexual abominations to the most ludicrously obscene levels. Jezebel and the prince of Sodom must be stopped at all costs.

That doesn't answer the question. Is there a line he could cross that would cause you to stop supporting him or would you rationalize and justify no matter what he did?
I think some may be assuming all (or most) Christians support Him. Not everyone does.

🚨🚨🚨 Bloomberg CAUGHT Covering-Up Tim Waltz STOLEN VALOR:

Waltz ran for office on the lie that he's a "combat veteran" who served in Iraq. In fact, he deserted his fellow guardsmen.

Bloomberg just stealth-edited their puff-piece revealing Waltz actually was in... ITALY

Hey
@Tim_Walz
, this you? Do you often wear our crest even though you were only National Guard with zero deployments, never went through SFAS or the Q course, and by all accounts never even worked with Special Forces?

Stolen valor much?

I suppose that would depend upon whether proclivities are either capitalist or communist.
Capitalists will always support Trump.

Useful idiot commies? Not so much. Cuz they don't give a hoot about the Republic.

This is the *REAL* reason for Kamala's "huge" crowd in Wisconsin today. Just like we all thought:

Billboard #1 charting band Bon Iver with Justin Verno is performing at this rally.
It also happens to be the band's hometown. So, now you know.

You're probably right. It seems the dominionism/reconstructionism of past decades has become pentecostal dominionism. I'll be as leery of the prophet as I am the pope. Bizarre times...
Which Sect of Pentecostal are you speaking about?

My last sentence re: prophet and pope is about as much as I care about any of this stuff. It's always the same in that there is a core and then offshoots in many directions, thus the need to ask people to define and explain their terminology so as to try to get to the basics of what they're thinking is.

A couple of excerpts that may explain the phrases I used:

The roots of dominionism are found in the mid-20th century, when Rousas John Rushdoony developed a hermeneutic called Christian reconstructionism. Rushdoony was the son of refugees who fled the Armenian genocide; he became a Presbyterian minister whose views frequently led to conflicts in his own congregation and denomination. Rushdoony went on to found the Chalcedon Foundation to develop and propagate his views on how Christians should live in the world.
Following Rushdoony, a hyper-charismatic movement known as the New Apostolic Reformation picked up on dominionist theology while jettisoning reconstructionism’s goal of Mosaic law. The NAR teaches that prophets and apostles are essential to church governance. In the NAR, apostles and prophets can receive new revelation from God and give that revelation to their followers.
I'd rather be trying to figure out Law than contending with how many false prophets we may have to stone.
One of the biggest names mentioned on the NAR platform is Rod Parsley who professes to be a Charismatic Baptist.

Hate to paint with a broad brush, but I've always had problems with charismatics I've met. They've tended to know very little Scripture and be open to just about anyone who's "heard the Spirit."

My family are Jews that know the Old Testament and the Torah word for word before the age of 8 and the New Testament just confirms it and we're Pentecostal and I know more none Charismatics who don't understand the Old Testament very well at all. Their English translation doesn't match many of the Hebrew so they're some times believing things that aren't correct at all.

Yes Sir. To a tee.

Nothing less than miraculous.

There must be decent Pentecostal Churches out there. Regardless of the fact that I have yet to encounter one lol.

There's many Pentecostal Churches that only understand the English version and lack the original Hebrew meaning as well (y)

It's an American thing it seems.

So many things to discuss here. A few observations:

The underlined is a typo you could fix so I could better understand you.

Knowing something and memorizing words are two different things. If you know Scripture as you seem to be presenting, then you understand what I'm saying.

Many seem to have decent understandings of both Old & New but do not end up in the sect you did. It's a big discussion.

Neither the Hebrew nor the Greek is translated as well as they could be and there is still a lot of work going on to better translate and explain the entire Text. In my experience, there is tremendous value in doing or reading such translational and interpretive work. There's a lot of beauty and nuance we simply do not get in English.
