The Census Bureau said in 2023 that about 38 million Americans are living in poverty. So were you being sarcastic or just plainly misinformed when you said "You overestimate how many people are struggling financially in this economy". Did you mean "underestimate"? Or were you trying to be sarcastic?

Neither, I was well informed. The US population is about 360-380 million. 10% of those are wealthy. Not "rich" but wealthy enough to not worry about monthly bills like groceries, mortgages and electric bills. They see them going up but they also see the value of their investment account going up as well.

Also, the richest 10% of this country follow the elections and vote whereas the poorest 10% don't follow it and often don't vote.

Your estimate of 200 votes for the Democrats is wildly off.

Wealthy people are neither Democrat or Republican, they are in the "Don't rock the boat" party and that means they are Never Trumpers.

Apparently a fundraiser for the families of those charged in the J6 riot will be held at one of Donald's gold clubs. Trump was invited to speak but it appears he won't be in attendance. However, he did attend and speak at a similar event at the same club in June, 2023. Looks like even he can understand how incredibly bad this would look so close to the election.

Reminds me of the story of the Pope and Trump in a fishing trip out on a lake. The Popes funny hat was blown off into the lake by a gust of wind, and Trump told him: "I've got this". So Trump gets out of the boat, and walks on the water over to the hat, grabs it, and walks back, giving it to the Pope, and they continued fishing.

The next day the national headlines are: "Trump can't swim!!!!!"

If a law was broken then that's a different story. They'll have to work that out with the campaign I guess, pay a fine or whatever is to be done about it. Breaking the law is not a good look and the campaign should make it right however they can do so.
