I posted these verses today because I want us Christians to think about our walk and our stand with Jesus today. We need to search our hearts and ask ourselves are we ashamed to tell the world that we serve Jesus. There is a time coming and it is going on today in some countries that Christians are having to choose Life ( rejecting Jesus) or death (refusing to denounce Christianity). Remember if we are ashamed of Jesus, He will be ashamed of us when we meet God.
Where do you stand today in your walk?

23 If any of you want to walk My path, you’re going to have to deny yourself. You’ll have to take up your cross every day and follow Me.
24 If you try to avoid danger and risk, then you’ll lose everything. If you let go of your life and risk all for My sake, then your life will be rescued, healed, made whole and full.

Hi Dennis62. It has been my experience as well talking to people that they do not want to discuss Jesus or any biblical subject. The reason is because they do not know what they really believe in and when they do start talking, you will find that they will quote their church's teachings and defend it with everything they have. There are very few people who really study the bible on their own. I have seen this fact on this site. Some people are just plain rude with nasty comments but that is to be expected as Satan works hard on a site like this. He does not want people to learn the Truth and will always put some spoke in the wheel to confuse the issues as he wants everybody to follow him. It is sad but it is true. The statement that you made about choosing Jesus or not can determine your life on this earth, has been happening for centuries now and is not a new phenomena. Many years ago, there was a huge war between the Catholics and the Christians and thousands of people were killed because of their religion. All I can say is, the Truth will always win and the lie will perish by fire and brimstone. We need to investigate everything that is said and with prayer to God, you will find the Truth. Do not give up as God will lead the way if you are prepared to believe, listen and obey. Focus on Jesus and you will enjoy everlasting life with Him one day. It is not going to be easy all the time but enjoy the journey. With Jesus on your side, you cannot go wrong. Go well.
